Inspired by the Queen Anne Revival style, the Tapestry House has been beautifully restored and exhibits a steeply pitched gabled roof, patterned shingles, elaborate spindle detailing, and gingerbread trim. With a dream and vision in mind, Bobbie and Mark moved to LaPorte in 2003 with their two daughters to create Tapestry House. They developed the property and grounds into a picture-perfect wedding venue and ramped up the business with great success! In 2015, Bobbie and Mark happily partnered with Wedgewood Weddings.
The Tapestry House is an elegantly handcrafted Victorian manor set on a stunning five-acres of flower gardens, a meandering creek, and majestic old-growth trees. A lovely gazebo and a historic 1880's barn add to the unique setting for an outdoor wedding or another special event. The Tapestry House will provide your guests with the warmth and charm of a private home, offering the ambiance and luxury of a traditional Victorian manor but with the comforts and conveniences of a new facility.It is an extraordinary setting for weddings, receptions, anniversary parties, retreats, family reunions, Bar / Bat mitzvahs, holiday parties, and corporate meetings.

My son got married here. Definitely a beautiful place! I felt like the staff did an amazing job! I didn't have any complaints with the staff at all! The food was so good also! I was so surprised! The only thing I would suggest is they have the air conditioner going where the bride and girls get ready! It was a bit hot in there for the girls. The bar was a bit expensive.
So not much to complain about! But the bartender was very friendly! Outside of that I would totally recommend this place! It really is beautiful! They did an outstanding job! Thank you for making my son's wedding so memorable!

My son got married here and it is such a beautiful place! The ceremony and the reception was perfect because it's all right there on site! The food was delicious! The bar was great, but it was a tad bit on the expensive side. Haha! Anyways, Everything went so well! The staff was so friendly! They were so helpful if you needed anything! I would definitely recommend this venue!

The Tapestry House made our wedding day stress free and full of great memories! I had many questions along the way and they were always great about communicating! The venue itself is of course beautiful and so nice that everything is on the same property. Overall we had a great experience with everyone we interacted with and our day was run so smoothly!

My husband and I had a phenomenal experience with the Tapestry house. We unfortunately had to postpone our wedding twice due to COVID and each time the team was so helpful in guiding us through such a stressful time. We absolutely loved how beautiful the Tapestry House was and the all-inclusive packages were a major cost savings for us. We opted to use our own DJ (due to theirs not speaking Spanish) and bring in a mariachi band and they were very accommodating in allowing us to do so (other wedding venues we looked at would not allow both).
We originally were sad because we wanted to have more options for mountain pictures but our photographer was amazing and rushed us up to Picnic Rock (about a 15 minute drive) and I am SO happy we did -gave us the ultimate experience we wanted! The only hiccup we had was we had ordered some gluten free desserts for our celiac guests and at some point they got mixed in with the normal desserts and got contaminated. The staff was super apologetic when we pointed it out to them and our guests were understanding.

The tapestry house was the perfect place to use as a wedding venue. We originally planned to have our wedding in August 2020 and had to postpone due to the pandemic. They were easy to work with and stress free. The venue itself is gorgeous. We had our wedding in August 2021 and it was stunning. The coordinators were so sweet and kind. The food was amazing. I felt as a bride I could actually enjoy my wedding and not stress about anything!

We loved the Tapestry House from the moment we stepped on the venue! It is such a unique and beautiful place to get married at and share such a special day with your friends and family. The employees at the Tapestry House were more than helpful in every way! We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for venue who will be by your side making decisions easy and to have the most romantic wedding!

This is an absolutely stunning venue! My husband and I had such a wonderful time at our wedding thanks to the lovely staff with Wedgewood Weddings at The Tapestry House. Everything is made so easy during the planning process and our wedding day could not have been better. This venue is one to definitely check out for all engaged couples looking for a beautiful, garden-like venue. You will not regret having your wedding at this beautiful place, and your guests are sure to be in awe with it too!

This place and the people that work here made our wedding amazing. Everything ran smoothly and I couldn't find a complaint if I tried. Tara our planner was always there for us and answered all our questions through the process. Sam our event captain was amazing and made sure everything was taken care of for us that night, anything we asked she made sure it was done. Julian our DJ was awesome and played all our music and had an amazing playlist that not only my wife and I enjoyed but our guests as well.
We have had nothing but great feed back from our guests about our wedding. From the ceremony to the food (which to be honest I didn't think was going to be good but blew me and everyone there away) to just letting loose and celebrating with family and friends. Thank you everyone who was there and helped make our night unforgettable.
