Hands down the best experience buying a wedding dress was here with Abbie! I went to many other stores where I felt rushed or like I wasn't being listened to. I had such an amazing time picking out my wedding dress, and I would highly recommend The Wedding Dress to anyone! Dress Selection: The Wedding Dress was the second place I went to look for dresses, and it was such a great experience. I had a general idea of what I wanted, but nothing locked in within my budget. So we got to pull dresses, no matter the price, to narrow down the style.
The team pulled a dress from the back that was the exact style and right in budget for me. I definitely had that "bridal moment"! Tailoring: We worked with their tailor in Downtown Middletown to have the dress tailored, and the process was incredibly quick and easy. Her pricing was very fair for the level of work she put into the dress, and she was very transparent with her charges.
She also offers steaming of the dress and veil, which was a nice touch! Wedding Day: Our wedding was held up a mountain during a record-breaking snowstorm - over a foot of snow and blizzard conditions on the day of our wedding. While I wanted some snow on the ground, I think this was more than anyone planned for. I felt like a snow princess in a fairy tale. My dress was so beautiful and I couldn't have asked for anything better!

Let me start by saying Abbie is extremely responsive and got me into a dress fitting appointment so quickly! This was my first bridal dress fitting and I honestly didn't expect it to be so easy. Abbie made me feel so comfortable, allowed my guests and I to take our time shopping, and let me try on THE dress 3 times to make sure it was definitely the one! I'm so excited to have said yes to the dress and at such an amazing shop! Thank you Abbie and The Wedding Dress!

Got my dress, headpiece and bra at the Wedding Dress. They are plus size friendly and provide a variety of dresses. Listen to their advice and they will make you feel beautiful for your big day. They also have shoes, belts, veils, prom dresses, and bridal party dresses. They keep up with the newest trends as well. I got my dress two years ago and the wedding was this month. I know that this dress is now no longer available but I still love it.

The whole experience was amazing! I made it in just as the world was closing for Covid and Abbie, the owner was more helpful and accommodating than anything I could have asked for! Between her and the seamstress she recommended they were all so wonderful. If your looking for a dress please choose The Wedding Dress! Where do I even begin? I came to the wedding dress in 2008 and bought my first formal dress-my prom dress. 12 years later I was adamant this was the bridal salon I was getting my wedding dress from. Sure enough with the help of Shelley and Abbie they made my dreams come true. This is truly the best salon in CT to get the most important dress you'll ever wear. I can't say enough amazing things about this amazing salon; you'll just have to experience this for yourself!

The Wedding Dress LLC is THE place to find your wedding dress, hands down. It was the first place I looked for a dress and I found "the one" within a few hours. The boutique is FULL of all styles, and honestly, I felt like I was in a dream in each dress I tried on. The owner, Abby, was soo helpful, professional, and made the experience so much fun.
