We honestly can not recommend Jo enough! Jo made our wedding cake and macaron favours, they were exactly as we wanted and tasted amazing, our guests loved the little macaron boxes. Jo made the whole planning process effortless and comfortable, we had to change our original wedding date because of covid and Jo was really understanding and effortlessly switched out dates

All I can say is fabulous, Jo made our wedding cake for last Saturday and it was amazing The attention to detail is fab and nothing was too much trouble. This is the 3rd cake we've had from Jo and each one has been so special Thank you Jo. Highly recommended

I have gone here for years. We love an hour and a half away now and I still make the drive down here for cakes, cupcakes, brownies, whatever. They have never ever disappointed. They do every birthday, anniversary, baby shower, and they did our wedding cake. They are incredible. We've never had a bad experience and we've been going here for 12 years.

Made a special drive to get my daughter a wedding cake cupcake from here. The cupcakes were dry and did not taste like a wedding cake. The cupcakes at sams club taste much better. Would not spend the money for the cupcakes

Jo is exceptionally talented. She has an eye for detail and ensures all her cakes are exactly what the client wants. We really enjoyed our wedding cake tasting and continue to enjoy our wedding cake which tastes amazing even after being frozen. Thank you so much Jo!

Ignore negative reviews as they are simply based off some false entitlement. Hands down the best cakes, cupcakes, brownies around. We use them for all occasions. They are like family and truly give you great customer service. Honestly if you think grocery store cakes are good then this is not the place for you.

We are always so pleased with the beautiful, delicious cakes we have purchased. We had a casino party for a 40th birthday party and with only a few days notice got a beautiful cake! I highly recommend this bakery.

We were skeptical since we haven't had much luck finding a good cakery in the area - too dry, too sweet, etc. We've finally found it! With the big focus on custom cakes lately, it seems like flavor and moisture of the actual cake isn't always there. I've found design and aesthetic takes away from enjoying the cake. We got a birthday cake made here and it was delish and beautiful. We will be back for all our future bakery needs. So yummy!

Was pleased with the presentation when I picked it up. However when I went to take a bite of the cauldron after being told it would be made out of rice crispy to find out it was made out of styrofoam. Was disappointed after being so hyped about it. Cake had great flavor and moist. Not dried

I ordered two cakes from this bakery and it was by far the worst experience. 1st Cake wasn't done on time and was for a photo shoot. I also requested a certain flavor and my cake didn't have the flavors I requested. My second cake was a layered cake and did not even came close to what I asked on it. You are better off buying a cake from a grocery store, will taste better as well. Don't waste your money buying from this bakery

I honestly couldn't recommend this woman enough! Jo is so talented and such a lovely woman. We booked Jo for our wedding cake but due to covid we had to change our dates and she was so helpful and supportive with it all. From the first day we met her at our cake consultation she did nothing but help and listen to exactly what we wanted! She worked with us and gave us some other ideas to make everything even more perfect!

Nothing is ever to much for her and she will do everything and more to make sure your cake is beyond perfect- both looking perfect and tasting perfect! Jo couldn't do enough for us, I honestly couldn't recommend her enough!

I ordered Gender Reveal cupcakes for my mom and they were beautiful and delicious. Way better than I could have imagined. We ordered on Christmas Eve to do on Christmas and they still tasted absolutely wonderful for the next day.

I had ordered a Spring Fling cake that stated it feeds 10, when I picked up the cake, , not only was it so small, , there was no way it would serve 10. Maybe 5. The cake could also be seen that through the little frosting that was there. I told it wouldn't work for me, she was so rude grabbed the cake and stormed off, not saying a word to me, I was going to purchase a ready made cake there instead, but she was so rude I didn't.

I have been going to this store for about 5 years and they have never let me down. This year was no different even though I didn't get to go in and talk to them directly about what I wanted on the cake due to social distancing. This family is so nice and helpful. They are working hard to follow all the current health rules and still deliver a great product to their customers. My daughter loved her cake and so did her buddies. This was the first birthday cake that I did not make myself and I was nervous ordering from a bakery but they did such a wonderful job and the price was extremely fair! We met Jo at 'Sparth House's Wedding Open Day.' She was very enthusiastic and lovely to speak to. She sent us away with a piece of her Chocolate Fudge csje and Vanilla cake. It was like heaven in our mouths! I contacted her to see if she could fit us in for a consultation and luckily she could squeeze us in the next weekend. When we arrived at her house, we were greeted with several different flavour tasters.

My little boy absolutely wolfed them down! They were amazing. She was very flexible with her flavours and could even accommodate our need of wanting a Parkin layer (in memory of my Grandma). We paid the deposit then and there. I cannot wait to see and taste our Wedding cake. Only 17 months to go!

I booked Jo to make a celebration cake for a family member. She asked lots of questions so she could make a really personal cake that would suit & compliment his personality. She gave me lots of little samples to try & they were all fantastic, I was spoiled for choice. It looked amazing & it tasted delicious. the attention to detail was superb & everybody loved it!

One of our favorite local businesses in Thornton area. We love their cupcakes, brownies and cakes. We get a dozen cupcakes once a month to share with all of our friends. A Cake Occasion created the quad-layer cake for our wedding and it was gorgeous as well as delicious. The biggest difference with A Cake Occasion is that their cakes/cupcakes are always flavor-filled and moist, which is not something you can say about many bakeries or most cupcakes. Give the almond poppy seed cake a try, you won't be disappointed!

I placed my order over the phone and felt very comfortable. They were extremely helpful and very thorough, asking lots of questions to make sure the cake was what I wanted and what I was picturing. The cake was confetti cake with strawberry filling and buttercream frosting. We picked up the cake (it was ready in time) and it looked perfect.
