Why are some DJs able to command a higher rate than others? For the same reason that some restaurants are able to get more for a meal, because they offer a better experience. In dining terms, that means better food and service. For a DJ that means having MORE FUN! How talented and practiced your DJ is determines how much fun you'll have, and creating a fun event is what our services are all about.
By the age of twelve, many Jewish boys & girls are busy studying Jewish law. Hi, I'm Pete Chambers, and for decades I've been entertaining all over New England as a Radio Personality, Club and Mobile Disc Jockey. To excel in any endeavor, you have to really enjoy what you're doing and I truly believe that I have been blessed to have the talents necessary to be at the top of my field in one of the most enjoyable careers in the world.

Pete was very attentive and had many helpful suggestions regarding timing of songs and events. He checked in with us multiple times to ensure things were to our satisfaction which was very nice considering how crazy weddings tend to be. We especially enjoyed the photo booth. Many guests utilized it throughout the evening and the pictures printed instantly, which was a hit amongst the kids at the wedding. Both the bride and groom had specific covers of songs, and Pete went the extra mile to help us find them. We would recommend him for any event.

Pete was awesome at our son's bar mitzvah party! We were concerned that we needed dancers/motivators to get the kids on the dance floor but Pete managed to get them out there having fun for the whole party on his own. The selfie photo booth he provided was a big hit as well. I will be calling him again when it is my daughter's turn!

Pete was a great DJ for our wedding. He played everything we asked and kept people on the dance floor. He checked in with us multiple times throughout the reception to make sure we liked the music and if we had any requests. He also provided uplighting for our reception and we can't imagine it without it, especially when it was time for dancing! He took pictures throughout the night and sent them to us the next day! I would definitely recommend Pete to anyone who is looking for an upbeat DJ who knows what he's doing!

Pete was our DJ for our August 22, 2021 wedding at the Margate Resort. He was very responsive to my emails (within 24 hours) and very organized. I loved the online forms that you fill in for the days schedule, wedding party details, must play songs, etc. He has a very extensive song list, but the couple that I wanted played as my wedding party and I walked down the aisle he found and downloaded for us.
Our wedding reception was unusually long, but he kept the party going until the end! My only complaint was the venue's AC not working well enough so I could dance the whole time! Thanks Pete!

We cannot say enough great things about working with Pete Chambers! Pete was incredibly friendly on our initial phone call - he explained the whole process and matched us up with Greg - who was amazing! Calm, cool, collected, Greg had so many great insights for us on our big day, from giving timeline recommendations to little moments during our reception that made the night feel special.
His music choices were perfect. He absolutely understood the vibe we were going for. He was flexible throughout the process (this was a DIY wedding). As we were putting out fires with other vendors we knew we could always rely on Greg. They have a great online interface that allows you to pick must plays and do-not-plays and upload timelines + other pertinent information. Can't recommend enough! We feel very lucky!

We would highly recommend Pete Chambers for anyone starting their wedding planning search. From the planning process to the day of the wedding, Pete is a true professional who thinks through all the details to make sure you have a great day. He curated the perfect night for us from ceremony to cocktail hour and a reception where no one left the dance floor.
Our ceremony was in a park with no electric outlets but Pete made it easy with his wireless setup, everyone could hear our music selections and the ceremony clearly. He helped us plan a fun entrance to the reception and made sure to add our first dance song to his library. Pete incorporated all our must play songs and kept the night running smoothly so we did not have to worry about a thing. The DJ was on time, experienced, chipper and played all the music the entire wedsing guest loved! She had all the timings perfect for the ceremony and she even got on the dance floor with my younger guests and danced with them. She was a pleasure to have there and we could not have asked for a better DJ.

Pete was my DJ for my 50th Birthday! He was absolutely awesome! Played all the music i requested, kept everyone on the dance floor the whole time. I also loved the Photo Booth he brought. It was a hit as well and the booth attendant was super nice. Everything was perfect and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a Great DJ!

DJ Jay did an outstanding job. He listened to our requests and made sure everything thing was perfect. He worked the crowd perfectly and and knew exactly how to get everyone up onto the dance floor. He made everything fun! Definitely not your typical stuffy boring wedding reception with all the same boring stuff! DJ Jay had everyone laughing and having a good time! I will definitely be requesting him for our next function!

Pete was fantastic at our wedding last weekend! Due to the pandemic, we ended up having a very small amount of guests and were worried about what that would look like. Pete exceeded our expectations by creating a fun, safe, and lively time! All of our guests had a blast and we couldn't thank Pete enough for that! In the weeks leading up to our wedding, Pete was so helpful with planning dinner music, intros, and the timeline.
He was so easy to work with and we were very impressed. In addition, we had amazing lighting and a spotlight of our names and date which was so cool. Without hesitation, we would hire Pete again. Thank you!

Met with Pete a few times to discuss what my husband and I wanted for our music for our wedding. Had such a great vibe from him up untill the last meeting (when he got his money). We decided to hire pete early on because we thought it was a great idea but boy we were wrong. My husband and I gave Pete a do not play list and he did play a few songs we did not want to hear.
He also played a very loud rock song (on our play list) during dinner which was not the acceptable time to play it. He asked my husband and I if we wanted to take requests for songs and we both agreed absolutely not. Pete wound up taking multiple requests from people and when asking why and not to allow it his response was "I could not say no to family".
Again poor excuse and very unprofessional. One thing we liked about Pete at first was that he had a sign in his office that said "no cheese zone". We asked him what it meant and he simply explained to us he doeant like to play cheesy songs at weddings for example the cha cha slide. My husband and I did not want any of those songs played at the wedding.
We only had a limited amount of spots on the do not play list and expressed to pete absolutely do not play any of these types of songs. Well, pete went and played the cha cha slide. Maybe he was upset that we weren't too interested in Frank Sinatra playing or his jazz music that he kept trying to push on us. My guests, my husband and I did ultimately have fun but how pete acted unprofessional was so disappointing. Please do not let him fool you. My suggestion is if your young, go with someone who is younger and isn't washed up like pete. You will regret it.

Pete is absolutely amazing! We got married in New Hampshire on Sept. 21 and he was the best DJ ever. He played ever single song we asked for, including some rare ones for the Finnish and Irish family members. He was wonderful to work with leading up the wedding and day of he really made it the best day ever. We received many compliments throughout the evening and the day after on Pete. The reception was everything we hoped for and everyone was dancing all night. I cannot recommend him enough - Pete is an awesome DJ.
