My experience at the Bridal Path was amazing! I went looking for a mother of the brides dress. I had a dressing room full of beautiful options. All of their consultants were so nice and gave great advice! I was so excited to find the perfect dress for my daughter's wedding! I would recommend this experience to anyone! I drive 3 hours there and 3 hours back and would do it again. Stacy McKinney was amazing and so patient. She has excellent taste and knows exactly what each body type needs. Thank you Bridal Path for making this mother feel wonder in her dress!

The experience at Bridal Path surpassed any expectations we had for my daughter getting her wedding dress & me getting my mother of the bride dress. This was by far the best experience and we were so blessed to work with such amazing & sweet ladies helping us. They go above and beyond to make sure your special day is perfect. The are just the absolute best at what they do and made us feel like we were their only customer.

I had the best experience at The Bridal Path. The stylist was absolutely amazing. She listened to what I had envisioned & helped me find the perfect dress. Also, it was so convenient to be able to do the alterations there at the shop. They also kept my dress & veil at the shop for me until it was closer to my big day (less stress for me.yay!). Thanks for making this experience the absolute best!

My experience at the Bridal Path has been nothing short of wonderful since the start. As my first stop on my wedding dress search, I had a wonderful experience but wanted to look around before choosing my dress. After visiting 6 other shops, I found my way back to the Bridal Path and chose the very first wedding dress I ever tried on. The ladies here are in the process of alternating my dress and turning my vision into a reality.

They are so understanding, supportive, and sweet. Every time I go in, I feel seen and heard when it comes to what I'm wanting. They have a huge selection of wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, mother of the bride dresses, veils, shoes, and accessories. I cannot recommend them enough.

The Bridal Path exceeded my expectations! I drove 2.5 hours from LA to shop with them. Angie was my sales consultant and she was ready for me! It took all of 5 min. for her to understand my taste - and within 15 minutes I had 10 dresses to try. Forty five min. later I had THE dress and THE earrings. I'm super happy to have my Mother of the Groom dress chosen so I can move on to other details! The Bridal Path has a large selection of dresses in various sizes and colors- along with many accessories. I'm so pleased I made that drive.

The Bridal Path is a hidden gem. I had been searching for my wedding dress for quite some time, but I decided to put it off the last couple months due to issues with body dysmorphia. That decision was a blessing in disguise. It gave me time to research a designer, find two gorgeous dresses, and most of all work on myself. When I found out The Bridal Path had both of the dresses, I immediately scheduled my bridal appointment.

I was comfortable informing Audrey of my situation, she was supportive and encouraging. We all loved her personality and how professional she was. I said YES to my wedding dress that day! I couldn't have made my decision without all the wonderful ladies from The Bridal Path! I 100/10 recommend every bride, visit this store! You deserve to feel pampered and heard, they will make sure you do! Thank you so so much for everything! Can't wait to come back!

Bridal Path was the only place I booked an appointment to go wedding dress shopping. I was so so nervous being the indecisive person I am, but they made the experience so comfortable and easy! The decision was the easiest I've made! I knew the second I put THE dress on! They're even helping me add touches to make it my own. I can't thank the staff enough for everything and I look forward to working with them in the next few months leading up to my big day!

The Bridal Path was my first and only place to look for my special dress. All of the staff were so kind from the moment I walked in the door. Stacy helped me find my dress, and she made sure I felt completely comfortable, special, and beautiful the entire time I was there. The entire experience was stress free, & such a fun time with my family that came with me.

Even down to the sweet note I received in the mail days later. Hands down one of the sweetest days! Thank you to the Bridal Path staff! I would 100000% recommend them for any Bride!

I had the absolute best time finding my dream dress! Audrey and the team are so helpful and make you feel like a princess in every dress! So glad I went to The Bridal Path to find my dream dress! We also got my bridesmaids dresses there, and we brought all the girls that could come! BP accompanied our large group so well, and my girls got to try on so many dresses before we decided on the one for them! They also added a slit, and BL did all the alterations! I would not have gone anywhere else to get their dresses!

Bridal Path has a beautiful selection of gowns and the staff there are so personable and friendly. I appreciated their exceptional customer service.

Love the bridal path! It was bought by new owners and they were so helpful in finding my dress. I believe the bad reviews are from previous ownership. I literally didn't feel rushed and it was not stressful. Audree helped me find my dress and she took her time with me and let me try on as many dresses as i wanted. She actually found my dress as i was getting ready to leave, she wanted to try one more that was a different style than what i had thought i wanted. She's a doll.

I even came back for a second time to try the dress on again and it was no problem. It is pretty standard that wedding dresses run smaller than street clothes, but they have a big variety to choose from. I did weekday appointments and did not feel like the environment was stressful at all.

Hey there! I am the new owner of The Bridal Path in Jackson, MS. I have taken great pride in making this Jackson tradition the place of the modern bride's dress shopping dreams. Unfortunately, when you purchase a business that has been open for over 50 years, the negative reviews have to come with it. If you are a review reader like I am, I hope you will read this and consider giving The Bridal Path a chance despite the low ratings from the past.

I wasn't impressed. 1. It was super crowded and they didn't follow Covid guidelines. 2. I'm a size 8 in pants and their sample dresses were too small and did not fit me. I was embarrassed and was told I could look for gold hangers and try on the plus size dresses. 3. I was expected to get undressed in front of my Sytlist, who is a complete stranger and then parade out to the front of crowded shop to go show my friends who came with me.

The whole time, I was not in dresses that zipped up so again, embarrassed. I finally used my voice and asked her to bring them back to me bc their dressing rooms were plenty big enough. I feel like I should have been explained their process to me before getting started, and made sure I was comfortable and if I wasn't, then give me another option on how to handle it.

I guess I'd youre itty bitty and like attention, then this shop is for you. If you're more average size and are modest, then stay away. It all felt chaotic and unorganized.

I had to deal with this place for my friend's wedding and I have never been so humiliated in my life by one of the seamstresses. I am normally a 3/4 in dress sizes, and they strongly advised me to get a 10 because of my 'measurements' I tried on the dress for my fitting and it was very big and I had to pay 130 in alterations when the dress itself was 160.

I came in to pick it up and tried asking the seamstress that if I was correctly fitted then would I had not have to pay all that money in alterations and I have never been so humiliated. She measured me in front of the whole store with customers and employees all around and rudely told me I was 'a half inch bigger in my chest, bigger in my stomach, and a WHOLE inch bigger in my waist- but that is besides the point' Those were her exact words.

What she did made my argument more valid. Then she continued to butcher me saying how if I had a problem then I should have contacted them which is true, but I am not from Mississippi so I couldn't just do that. I told her that also and she said 'that was not her problem'. Bottomline, I paid for the alterations but I will never ever be returning here and if you're looking for a dress of some sort, look where the employees actually want the best for you instead of your money. Sorry this was long, but I would never want someone to be talked to in that matter or disrespected like I was.

I wouldn't even leave a star if I didn't have to because it deserves zero stars. From the moment I walked in for first appointment I had a gut feeling it wouldn't be a good experience. I felt profiled, and that they thought I wasn't "the type" to drop money on a dress. I started picking out dresses to try on, and the lady "helping" me seemed she wasn't even listening to the look I wanted.

There was a dress on a mannequin that I tried on though and of course ended up "falling in love with." We ordered it right then & they said they would call me in a week w shipping info. A week goes by and no phone call, so I called them and they pretty much said they didn't have any information for me which wasn't too comforting. A month goes by and I still haven't heard from them so my maid of honor called on a Tuesday morning, and they told her my dress and veil have been shipped and should both be there within 3 weeks.

Not even 24 hours later I get a phone call saying both have arrived. Pretty odd to me. Today I went to pick my dress up and it got even worse. I walked in as excited as I could get myself to be, and told them I was there to get my dress. They unzipped it for me to look at and then zipped it right back up. I had to ask "oh sorry, but can I please at least try on MY WEDDING DRESS?" So they put me in a dressing room, took dress out of bag and walked away.

They didn't offer to help me get it on, didn't offer to help put the veil on (of course my mom was with me to do so, but that's beside the point). The lady came in when I had it on and said pretty perfect fit but could probably be taken up some. But did she offer to have alterations arranged? No, of course not. Not that I would have had them do it anyway.

I walked out in tears. Not happy tears. It was the most unpleasant experience for an experience that should be such an exciting time in my life. I do not recommend anyone go here. I felt so belittled, so unappreciated, etc. And although I did find a dress I love, I honestly would love to start with a clean slate and have the experience every girl should!

So ladies, just stand clear of Bridal Path in Jackson, MS. The new owners are so unpleasant it makes the experience miserable. And to top it off there wasn't champagne either haha

I live in DC and had been to a bridal salon in DC, where I HATED the dresses and was chided for not coming in sooner (I had only been engaged about two weeks). They had very few that could be available in time for my wedding that was six months away, and fewer still that fell below my $1000 price point. I had been looking at BHLDN and J Crew for off the rack dresses and found one I kind-of liked, but decided I wanted to do the whole bridal salon experience with my mom, aunt, and best friend from home.

I honestly didn't really expect to find one at The Bridal Path, especially within my budget. I was wrong! Lou Ann knew what would flatter me, what was within my budget, and listened to what I was telling her. We found one we all loved, ordered on the spot, and had it earlier than promised (I ordered at the end of December and had it in hand in March, with no rush fee). Alterations were easy and not too pricey (mine cost a little more because I lost a fair bit of weight at the end and had it taken in more).

It was a very pleasant experience and the dresses were much prettier than the ones I had seen at another salon. I did get talked into a veil and belt that put me well above what I had said was my budget, but I decided it was worth it. I felt really beautiful and was happy with my choice.

The service is awesome here. I am a plus size woman and the sales associate made me feel comfortable with trying on dresses and even found some beautiful ones. They don't have a big plus size selection, but I was able to fit in some sample sizes (with riggings) and the sales associate was happy to help me. This is a friendly place to shop for a bridal gown. I found some beautiful ones, but my heart was taken by a dress at another store, so I don't know what their buying experience is like.
