"This is the most beautiful wedding I've ever been to" I heard MULTIPLE times on my wedding day. The ceremony spot in the meadow is RIDICULOUSLY gorgeous. There's all different lights hanging from the trees, a water fall in the distance and a huge arch. Everything is so green and pretty. The reception area as well is indoor but one side is open so it's never too hot and stuffy.

They have loads of decor and options to choose for to make your wedding perfect. Everyone I worked with was great, but mainly Tamra! She helped me through the process and i never felt like she was annoyed at me when I changed my mind 100 times! She was also my day of coordinator and she was so calming to have around. It's a nerve wracking day and she helped so much. You really are the best!

My husband and I have taken much care in writing a detailed and honest review of our experience getting married at Los Willows. Unfortunately The Knot limits the amount we can write so to read the full review please go to the Wedding Wire. The review is titled "Tread with Caution." If you are considering getting married at Los Willows, I urge you to read it and be fully informed of their practices before risking the most special day of your life.

In short, the venue itself is beautiful, however their staff is rude, their coordinators are not equipped, they are dishonest and take no responsibility for their errors and do not honor their end of a contract, and the food portions are lacking. Ultimately, they are very expensive and highly motivated around revenue, not what is supposed to be the best day of your life.

We spent the first 3 months of our married life emailing back and forth with Los Willows trying to make sure what happened to us never happens to another couple and also trying to understand why it happened to us at all. The venue took responsibility for one incident, but dismissed ALL our other claims and concerns, which believe me were many, with an "I'm sorry and thanks for letting us know" attitude.

As hosts it is incredibly disheartening hearing that your guests were treated badly and that they left hungry or dissatisfied, and as the guests of honor, we felt so much was taken away from our special day. Tread with Caution.

There are not enough positive things I could say about Los Willows. From booking our wedding date to the day we got married Los Willows was nothing short of amazing. The team at Los Willows is unmatched and made wedding planning a breeze. Tamra, our day of coordinator was incredible, she was extremely attentive and assisted in every way possible. Tamra provided incredible advice and ensured that our wedding day would be exactly how we imagined. Lynne, where do I even start with her? Lynne is one of the most incredible people I have ever gotten to work with.

There is something special about knowing that someone is just a phone call away especially when it comes to one of the biggest days of your life. I was able to connect with Lynne on several occasions and with every conversation I walked away with a sense of relief because I knew that Lynne was going to take care of me. Lynne is an incredible business woman and I was so thankful to have had her throughout my wedding planning process, she truly goes above and beyond.

One might even say she has a way to scare the rain away. In addition to being a one stop shop when it comes to wedding venues, the Los Willows team also partners with an incredible caterer. The food is incredible and I wish James and his team could cater every meal for us. If I were to ever get married again I would 1,000% come back to Los Willows and I highly suggest you visit them!

I have nothing but wonderful, amazing things to say about Los Willows, their staff, ceremony site, and customer service. Since we signed our contract and booked this venue, they had been in communication regarding every little detail. If a question came up, they answered it in a timely fashion. They made wedding planning easy and non stressful. Come our actual wedding day, it was a dream.

The entire Los Willows staff were helpful since we stepped foot onto the property. I didn't have to think about any small detail, they handed everything. Our coordinator, Rialee, was a dream come true. She was kind and considerate, but intentional with her direction (handling a large bridal party is like herding sheep). She ensured my husband and I knew where we had to be at every given moment (cake cutting, first dance, toasts, exit, etc.).

She fed us, grabbed us cocktails, and made the entire day run SO SMOOTHELY. I cannot rave about her enough. Finally, the meadow, where our ceremony was, is to die for. Best day of our lives, wish we could relive it!

Mistakes happen. Bad employees happen. When the best day of your life is also stressful to the point of tears and the venue says Oh Well. That's a sign of poor management. I would never book with this company because they don't care. My sister got married here over the summer and I have been holding off writing this review to see how they were going to fix the situation, but they have declined to do anything to rectify the situation.

Their response was basically: Weddings are live events and of course things will go wrong. I do agree and understand that nothing can be seamless, however, this venue made the planning process but even worse the wedding day stressful for the couple. The day of the wedding and throughout the event the couple, bridal party, other vendors, and even the guests were stepping in to fix things!

A few small errors are fine, but there were a lot of small errors and a few big ones too! The coordinator came to get the bride and bridesmaids to line up outside, BEFORE THE GROOM HAD LEFT. He had not headed to the ceremony site yet. Luckily the groom did not see the bride, but the bride did see the groom, which was upsetting. The venue's response was basically of course this is going to happen, the set up at our venue is problematic because "the dressing suites are a mere 60' apart from each other".

Housing for the bride's family (they canceled the reservation and didn't tell the bride, this caused everyone to be late to a welcome event that was scheduled at another location). Miscommunication telling groomsmen that there would be no access to the bridal suite during the wedding. Morning of the wedding telling the couple that their dog could not stay in its crate in the bridal suite during the party despite this plan having already been in place. Refusing to help the dog walker get the dog to its crate in the house. Sent the hair and make-up people to the wrong location to set up (they needed to pack all of their supplies up and head to the correct location making them late by about an hour).

The venue refused to give hair and make-up a ride up a giant hill with their suitcases full of supplies. Didn't supply mimosas to the bridal party during hair and make-up. The videographer was sent to the wrong venue (bride had to fix it). Not enough champaign glasses in bridal suite (bridesmaid had to search for an additional glass so we could toast). Leaking water container got MoH's dress wet (dog walker and flower girls cleaned up the mess). Coordinator was MIA again and bridesmaids had to chase down the mother of the groom to give her her corsage because she was heading to the ceremony site without it. Coordinator refused to make an announcement about silencing cell phones, said she would get a sign but did not and told the bride minutes before the wedding that she wasn't making the announcement (the photographer ended up fixing it).

During photos there was one bottle of champagne, one pitcher of beer, and no food served to bridal party and family (guests tried to fix it). Coordinator lined up the bridal party in the wrong order to be introduced by the DJ (fixed by bridesmaid) Coordinator told DJ to announce father/daughter / mother/son dance without telling the photographers and the four of them were standing awkwardly on the dance floor while the photographers scrambled to set up lights (the DJ made the right choice to not start the dance before the photographers were set up). Kids meals were not brought out, vegetarian meals were not brought out (MoH needed to fix).

Severe food allergies were ignored (apparently an allergy place card at your seat means that you can ask the chef about the ingredients in the buffet). Started the cake cutting without the bride and groom. Many guests missed the the cake cutting. No one came to take the cake from them. Bridesmaid found the coordinator who told her that it was the caterers job (the bridesmaid needed to tell the coordinator to get the caterer then). No announcements about a photobooth or a s'mores station that none of the guests knew about.

We stayed at the villa for our friend's wedding. Kevin and Cindy at the villa were super accommodating and friendly. The food was great. The rooms were clean and well kept. Breakfast was served for us with fresh fruits and delicious pancakes. Kevin was kind enough to shuttle us between the villa and the venue.

All I can say is wow. This venue was the perfect place for our wedding. Even through the pandemic the staff was always cheerful and accommodating. They really made the experience for me, always going above and beyond to bring my vision to light. From the ceremony meadow, to the lake, to the reception this place is absolutely stunning. Our Coordinator Jennifer really made it happen.

The day flowed so effortlessly and really took all of the stress off of me and my husband to just enjoy it. Shout out to Lynn for the delicious sangria and to Liza for igniting our hearts and always guiding us throughout the process. We made the best decision by choosing Los Willows and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks for making my dream come true!

The vineyard hills villa was one of the best places I have ever stayed at for a wedding. The view was gorgeous, I felt so comfortable in my room and I felt very well taken care of by Cindy and Kevin, the villa caretakers. If I could, I would stay here again.0

We've been part of the Los Willows family since 2018. My wife and I initially booked at their sister site Paradise Falls; and our original date was set for April 11, 2020. We've had such a wonderful experience with everyone who had helped us. The most amazing person was Lynne. She truly made us feel like family with every warm greeting. I'm so happy that she was the one that broke the news to us about Paradise Falls.

She invited us to continue on with Los Willows. We trust Lynne entirely so we said yes to booking Los Willows without even checking it out. I'm glad we did because we loved our wedding at Los Willows! Lynne is the reason why we still wanted to have our wedding. She's so kind and loving. She checked in on us and was there for us every step of the way.

She wanted to ensure that our wedding was as stress-free as possible! The big day was great! Los Willows has so many wedding items that are included or available for upgrades. They even provide a day of coordinator. I think that it would make the day even smoother to have the venue coordinator and your own personal coordinator. We had some extra features that didn't make it out on the big day, but no use in sweating the small details.

Our favorite thing about the venue is that it's dog-friendly! Our pups were able to be at our wedding too. The venue itself is gorgeous! There are also many activities to keep the guests engaged. One thing I cannot stress enough is to GET THE EXTRA HOUR. My wife nd I wish we did because the night felt like it ended so soon, and we wanted it to last longer. Thank you to everyone at Los Willows - especially Lynne!

Los Willows provided us with a magical wedding day. There is no better word to describe it. As many of our guests have told us following the wedding, it felt like a fairy tale. Our coordinator, Tamra Leach, made the entire process seamless. We felt this way prior to the pandemic, and even more so after being faced with postponing our wedding. Tamra's attention to detail, and ability to carry over previous plans, desires, and visions into 2021 (postponement year), gave us confidence that our hard work was not lost, and our ideal wedding day would still happen.

And that came true! Additionally, the Los Willows team enhanced our postponed wedding beyond our original expectations (special thanks to Lynne!). We worked with Victoria from the catering team, who was sweet, positive, and professional. We highly recommend working with her. To this day, our guests are raving about the food! One very unique and special thing about Los Willows is that you can live out your entire experience on the property. Having the bridal salon & suite and groomsmen room for hours before the wedding allows for an easy, fun, and intimate getting ready experience.

You really feel like the estate is yours for the day. We can honestly say that this venue is flawless and there are no complaints to be said. Thank you to the entire Los Willows team for being in our corner and not missing a beat. We will hold this enchanting place in our hearts forever!

Where do I even start? To begin with, having or planning a wedding during covid is one of the hardest things ever so kudos to everyone! With that being said, not knowing and having fear that my dream wedding wasn't going to pan out was scary to consider. However, on April 15th my dream wedding came to life Lynne, the director at los Willows, is the most sweetest most genuine person I've ever met.

She truly cares for her brides having their magical day come to life. She never failed to call me with an update and answered any question/concern I had. If I had a question or was worried about something she would do everything in her power make sure it was answered or handled without giving me stress. Her positivity kept me in good spirits getting closer to my wedding & dealing with all covid regulations.

My wedding planner Rialee was phenomenal! Planning a wedding in 60 days was no joke and without her it wouldn't have come to life! She always answered my late texts or called me if I had any concerns. She made sure all details were to the T & on the special day she made it fun smoothly even when my husband was late. I cannot speak more highly of Los Willows & their team, Lynne & Rialee. Everything was covid compliant without feeling like we were in covid times. I will forever be grateful for making my dream wedding come to life, thank you

Had an amazing experience with Lynn and all the staff today! I'm the MOH for my friends wedding and this is pretty much the first wedding we have ever been a part of/planning. This morning we were trying to figure out some things and gave Lynn a call to see if we can stop by to get a refresher and take some photos of items we were planning on using.

She immediately told us we can stop by without issue! She went above and beyond, took us back to the design room, showed us the salon again, and sat down a couple hours with us to go over our plan. She didn't have to do this at all, and took time out of her day to put an ease to ours! We truly appreciated her guidance, time, and attitude today :

Update: Within an hour of posting this review, I was contacted by one of the Coordinators, Glenn. He apologized for what happened and graciously offered to honor our original package. I really do appreciate the efforts and felt that Glenn's swift and professional response deserved noting. Unfortunately, in this case I'm afraid there really is no fixing the situation as the overall sales experience just really left us feeling uneasy.

I really wish it wasn't the case because I loved the location so much, but honestly we just can't see ourselves getting married there now after such a negative experience. However, thank you Glenn for reaching out and trying.. BAIT AND SWITCH! My fiance and I have been searching for an all-inclusive venue for a small, simple wedding. We were so excited to see the mini plus wedding offering as well as the weekday packages on their website.

We visited for a tour over the weekend and fell in love with the venue. It was absolutely gorgeous and to be honest, everything we had envisioned. We were ready to put our deposit down that day, but there were a few details that Liza said she needed to ask about first. Liza contacted me the following Monday with good news about details on the mini plus wedding, but then in discussing details with her, she mentioned that I could do a regular wedding package for almost the same price.

This would open up seats for more people and I would be able to have a DJ with a traditional reception that includes dancing. She sent over a quote that only included the venue, food, and DJ. The "all inclusive" part was really fuzzy and the more I asked for clarity, the more conflicting responses I received and the more I started to feel mislead.

I inquired if everything else was included (things like cake, flowers, photographer, etc) as advertised on the website for the weekday package. She responded that it is not included, those things are all extra. Confused, I sent her a screen shot of the weekday package advertised on her website. Her response was "I am so sorry for the confusion. The all inclusive wedding package and the mini wedding plus are no longer being offered at Los Willows.

Our computer tech company is in the process of removing those wedding packages from our website. I just found out about the mini wedding package is no longer being offered as of this morning, as well. So, I am so sorry, but the only wedding package I can offer you at this point is the Signature Wedding package" This feels very much like a bait and switch scam.

If you have something advertised on your website, the honest thing to do is to honor it. I am absolutely saddened by the terrible sales experience at Los Willows. It is truly unfortunate because this location was so incredibly magical otherwise. Weddings are not cheap which makes this a really important decision. As much as I loved the location, this misleading experience just left such a sour taste for us.

We will be looking for a more honest and genuine venue for our special day. Attached screen shots are of the 2 packages noted that are suddenly not available. As of today's date (10/22/20) these are still being advertised online.

I have nothing but amazing words to say about Los Willows. My soon to be sister-in-law/best friend got married here this past weekend and words cannot describe how incredible it was. Not only was their wedding drop dead gorgeous but every single staff member of Los Willows was exceptional. My sister-in-law and her husband had to move their wedding from Paradise Falls to Los Willows.

They were taken in with nothing but love from the Los Willows team. With COVID, we were all unsure if their wedding would take place, but they pushed through and waited out San Diego's closures and it was absolutely worth it! Their wedding was perfect and the Los Willows team made that happen! Tamra was a fantastic wedding planner! Lynne, Victoria and Tamra made sure everything was breathtaking and we could not have asked for a better team to have during their wedding!

My fiance and I had booked Los Willows for our wedding (in 2021) last year, after this past weekend, I can honestly say I am even more excited to get married at this venue next year as I know the team they have makes sure everything is perfect in every single way! We will be the 3rd couple in our family to get married at Los Willows and I couldn't imagine having our wedding at any other venue! They are amazing! Thank you to everyone at Los Willows for being incredible!

Read the fine print throughly, when a contract says " act of god" that only covers a few things NOT a pandemic we could not control. We lost out on $ 2,500 and had only visited the property once. When I asked about about a refund far out in advance considering they had closed down and canceled all our meetings and food tasting they said they had their lawyers ready and that this was an unforeseen event which is not in the contract.

Thank god we hadn't made more payments or they would have kept that too. After doing some research I saw a few sad reviews one with a husband that got deployed and they were trying to keep their $10,000 thats just wrong. Another one mentions if it rains you are basically screwed. If your looking for a beautiful, honest place to get married go to Coyote Hills Golf Course in Fullerton.

My friend paid up front in full and got a 100% refund including the down payment. I can't speak for what it was like to get married there but my experience was extremely disappointing considering how careless they were. I know they did not plan the pandemic but neither did I and I would have appreciated any percentage of a refund!

I finally received my refund so I am updating my review based on that. I can finally put down a retainer on a different venue now. I still encourage people to read the fine print before signing anything and decide for yourself if you want to take on the risk. Like I said previously, no other venue I contacted (about 7 other places in the area) has the same strict contract Los Willows has. Other than that, the venue is really stunning. Well manicured and picturesque. That's about all I can say is positive about the place, given my experience.

Cathie, I felt compelled to correct the inaccuracies in your reply. I only paused in my correction to allow your general manager time to respond to my email in which I offered to allow your venue to keep $1,000 of my money while refunding the remaining $13,000+that you currently are withholding. In my opinion, given the stress imposed and limited communication, this was a more than a fair resolution to compensate you for the tasting and for your staff's time during our single planning visit.

I never once said I was canceling my wedding. When we transferred to your venue we informed Liza that we were unable to shift our date due to the possibility of deployment next year among other time-pressing concerns. I was told we would be contacted at least one month prior to our date to let us know if it was likely to happen. Despite many attempts to reach your team, including visiting the venue, when I was finally contacted after a lapse in communication 13 days prior to my date and offered "the full package", which you indicate below is not possible given the current parameters, I was concerned. Lynne stated I would need to sign a "dancing waiver" to assume liability if anything were to happen.

I asked to see this waiver and she said it would take a couple more days to draft. I informed Lynne I needed a firm decision by the following morning as I needed time to plan a smaller event, possibly a vacation rental, if it was not possible given current parameters to fulfill our full contract as I would need time to notify my guests and reduce the count to meet current regulations.

Per the above, I was relying on the Act of God Clause in your contract when I made this decision "If the Owner is unable to perform under this Contract due to an act of God, casualty or other cause, .and the event is required to be canceled by Owner, the Retainer and any portion of the Package Price paid by Client shall be returned to the Client.".

Per Lynne's most recent email the "sole purpose and intent of.[the clause].is for the benefit of the "Owner"(Los Willows)" however in this case it applies to me and therefore Lynne has informed me that "We [Los Willows] will comply with whatever the Court decides is fair." As I have mentioned in my email correspondence I have no doubt that Los Willows was and is a beautiful venue however, given the everchanging situation with COVID 19, and the lack of timely communication from your staff, that simply was not my experience.

Several couples have responded to my Yelp review with similar stories and I feel it is unfair for you to keep my/our money while being unable to provide the services we were promised- A Wedding with Full Reception. The option we were provided was to accept a lesser-ceremony at full price or move our date, neither option appealed to our needs. I have said before that I understand that Los Willows did not cause the pandemic however I would like you to understand that neither did I.

I would be happy to discuss this with you personally Cathie, via email, as Lynne continually twists my words. I believe we can reach an amicable solution, one veteran family to one active duty family.

Let's start of with the fact this venue is beautiful. From the closeness with nature to the serenity provided by the design of the venue, you can't go wrong. Off the beaten path from the 15 freeway, you drive up not expecting the beauty ahead. Parking is in a small lot amongst the trees. A tram takes you up to the location. From a small lake complete with personal boat for rides to a outdoor Spanish style bar complete with fireplace many things are a feast for the eyes. Lots of trendy decor is all around in addition to a tented area with dance floor. A fun place to hold a event for sure.

If you're a bride looking to get married at Los Willows we 100% say go for it. As wedding photographers who have worked here we can honestly say the whole day is an absolute dream from start to finish. Not only does the venue have beautiful, well manicured grounds, but it's incredibly functional and convenient for everyone involved with your wedding.

One thing we always recommend to brides when looking for a wedding venue is to find something that is all inclusive, and Los Willows delivers. Los willows has not only a gorgeous bridal suite but also a separate cottage to give brides the option of arriving early to completely get ready at the venue. Their beautiful ceremony area features large shady trees for guests and a quiet brook to enjoy. Finally, the tented reception space is not only beautiful but also a great way to have an outdoor wedding with the assurance of an indoor space should there be any rain in the forecast.

You and your guests (and vendors) will love all that this venue has to offer. The staff, location, and grounds make this one of our favorite venues to photograph at and we can't wait to shoot here again!

This without a doubt the most beautiful and scenic spot to have a 5 Star Wedding that both the Bride & Groom and all guests will never forget! Beautiful Lake and well kept grounds and greenery and flowers everywhere. Simply the best spot for any wedding!

Don't get married during rainy season, they don't tel you how much of their packages aren't allowed in the rain and then on your wedding day you're in for a rude awakening. They even kind of gaslight you. My day of coordinator was awful. She sent my ring bearers down the aisle with no boxes In fact almost my entire processional was out of order.

She had my bridesmaids put their stuff in the bridal suite so my $4000 pictures of me getting ready are full of junk in the background that we can't even use or share Didn't get our red car Didn't get our LOVE letters Didn't get our boat ride My guests (invariably) say they were never offered cake (It took them like 40 minutes to even take the cake back to cut it.

I had to chase someone down and ask if it was ever gonna happen) And All the contract all it says is "if it rains, we've got you covered!" Ha. Paid the ultimate package price for the ultimate letdown. 2 stars because it's undeniably beautiful just don't count on them UPDATE: they responded on my anniversary (see below ) With a wonderfully passive aggressive response, that still doesn't explain why 1) my day of coordinator failed me in many ways 2) I had to chase someone down (40 minutes after I cut my cake with my husband) for them to even take it back and cut it - regardless of how it's served. 3) I was never told I couldn't get married in the meadow if it was raining UNTIL my wedding day. 4) why they waited until I posted a yelp review to offer us any future reshoots using the things included in our wedding package. So.

Los Willows Private Wedding Estate in Fallbrook was such an amazing/beautiful place to get married! My husband and I got married there September 27th and all the employees went far and beyond to make sure the day was perfect for my husband and I! They made everything so easy for us and made everything go so smooth, everyone was so nice and caring. I'm just sad the day is already over!

Such a beautiful venue! We shot a wedding here last year and absolutely loved everything about it! The location, the staff being super helpful, how everything flows nicely from getting ready, to ceremony, to reception. We can't wait to shoot here again!
