I had my baby shower here end of May 2022 outside on their patio, which was so nicely decorated with some florals and greenery. We worked with Nat and I have nothing but amazing things to say. From the start everything was smooth sailing, he was even there for the whole event which I really appreciated, they treated my family and I like their family.

I had my bridal shower 2 years back at another well known venue and they did not go above and beyond the way Macaluso's did, I definitely felt and saw the difference. At the end of the party, the workers even helped put the baby gifts in our cars, everyone was so great. Food was wonderful as per usual! Their vodka sauce is one of my faves. I hope to have many more events here :

LOOK NO FURTHER! I had my wedding here early this month and the food was amazing. From cocktail hour to dessert my guests and I were impressed every step of the way. All of the staff were super helpful and professional. Maroon and his team from start to finnish made all of the wedding planning super easy. I was never stressed out thanks to the Macaluso's team.

Fancy dining hall, had a few events there. Professional courteous staff kept the nights moving smoothly and the food was really good. Parking is valet and it's a weird lot so be thankful for that.

My Fiance and I had our engagement party at Macaluso's on April 14th and it was an absolute dream! There is not one thing I would have changed. Elias our sales rep was PHENOMENAL! I can not say enough good things about him. From the very second I called to book to the 300 times I called, he was super accommodating! So even if you think having your event here is out of reach, call anyway, they will absolutely do their best to work within your budget.

All our guest raved about the food. It was DELICIOUS! The aesthetic of the venue is out of this world. It is breath taking from the moment you walk in the lobby, and continues to take your breath away as you walk through the hallway into the main ballroom. Our guests could not stop raving about our party, the venue, the food! 10/10 for sure! Book your next event at Macaluso's if you want a showstopper event. You WILL NOT be disappointed. A HUGE thank you to Elias, Maroon, and the entire Macaluso's team for making us feel like family and ensuring we had a night to remember!

Five-star rating for this family-owned business. From planning to execution, Maroon and Elias were always available. No detail was overlooked and they were highly attentive from the moment we signed in February through my wedding in October of 2021. Every single guest raved about the variety, quality and quantity of the food. No one went home hungry and we would definitely recommend Macalusos for a party! Besides the food, the service was first-class. Book early because dates fill up quickly. I'm so grateful we celebrated our wedding there!

You want the best wedding or party? This is your Place! I had my wedding here in October 2021 and it was the best experience I've ever had, the stress was taken off my shoulders! Me and my husband were just like a guest at the party just more important lolz! Our wedding ceremony was outside where everything was beautiful and the reception was in the amazing ballroom!

The food was exceptional and all our guest loved it! Recommend all the staff they were all amazing especially Elias! Helped us all throughout the planning, ceremony and party. The extra attention the staff gave me and my husband and our parents was amazing. Wouldn't recommend any other place honestly! This place is amazing!

I've been to many events at many different catering venues around the tristate area and NONE compare to Macs! Best food, best service and did I mention best food? We ordered take out from here during the pandemic when they weren't allowed to host parties. Even their takeout was out of this world. I sort of wish they were still taking smaller orders. Seriously, there are many other great venues in north Jersey, but I still tell people Macalusos is #1. Staff is really friendly and I believe family owned so they really take pride in every little detail. Highly recommend for any occasion.

We can't stop talking about the beautiful wedding reception we had at Macaluso's. Elias and the team are over the top, making my husband and I feel like royalty as we celebrated our day. I recently attended a wedding at Macaluso's. The establishment sits high above the street, so you feel like you are pulling up to a castle! Complementary Valet service was available to park our cars, which was nice since we were dressed in formal attire. The venue is decked out with chandeliers, candles, fireplaces and art, which are slightly dated.

The cocktail hour was loaded with choices, and the open bar was certainly handy, though the drinks were tiny. The food as a whole was *meh*, lacking flavor and excitement. I had a NY strip steak that was over cooked and bland. I heard other people discussing the same quality of their food. Generally, the servers were lovely and welcoming, but you could tell that they kept the event on a strict timetable, it felt very rushed. Personally, I would want a wedding to feel more free-flowing and natural. If you are the kind of person who wants to be kept to a timeline for your special day, this place is for you. They will have you PROMPTLY out at 11pm.

Look no further! This is the place to book your special occasion! We just celebrated my daughter's Sweet 16 and it was absolutely incredible. We had an excellent experience dealing with Maroon and Elias. They always answered all questions promptly and kindly offered suggestions/advice to make our celebration beyond what we imagined it to be. Our guests were awestruck by the grandeur as soon as they entered the hall.

They are still reaching out to us to rave about the delicious food and attentive service. Our server, Nawal, was exceptional and went above and beyond in making sure we had everything we needed without having to ask. Her attention to detail was impeccable. Everything about our entire experience at Macaluso's was absolutely perfect! Thank you, Maroon and Elias, for making our daughter's special day a dream come true!

Ever since my brother got married at Macaluso's years ago, I knew that this was the venue I would want to host my own wedding. Now it was my chance. The food was exactly how I remembered it, delicious and plentiful. Even now, months later, people are still telling me about how amazing the food was! Since my last visit there, the venue underwent a massive renovation that is, quite honestly, awe inspiring.

From the white-marbled floors, to the brand-new patio and ceremony area, to the lighting in the main ballroom and bridal suite, Macaluso's provided everything we needed to make the wedding we planned into a reality. Maroon (Matar) treated us like family since the moment we walked through the door and pulled out all of the stops when it came to what he provided for us.

Not only did the wedding go flawlessly, but when it came to moving the wedding from October 2020 to June 2021, Maroon selflessly provided new dates and times without any extra hassle. The event staff (from the managers to the captains to the attendants and servers) were amazingly polite, professional, and courteous throughout the entire day. The set-up was immaculate, the timing and presentation of all the courses were perfect, and the only thing left to my husband and I was to have an amazing time.

Every detail imaginable was taken care of, and the staff made sure that we ate, drank, and fully enjoyed our wedding day without a thing to worry about. There is no other place to have your wedding (or event), trust me, you will not regret it.

My friend got married during COVID here. The wedding hall is so big that everyone on my livestream mentioned that it looked empty even though there were about 100 people in attendance. The food was your average wedding food. The bartender was very sweet! Also, social distancing guidelines, temperature checks, and masks in the halls is all in order.

Usually I don't leave reviews for anybody.but these people are amazing.the way they treat u and the kindness they show and the understanding of situation and how professional they are.made me cancels all the appointments am having and just go with them.their halls is so beautiful and amazing.

Awesom! had my husband 80th birthday here. It was spectacular! We were in awe of the great food, settng and service! it was a joy working with such a great, friendly team. Our guest can not stop raving about how spectacular everything was start to finish! Two guest were so happy with everything that they are planning to have their weddings here next year! Came here for a wedding recently. The place itself was very nice and extremely clean. The staff that i came in contact with were extremely friendly and willing to help with anything. The food was disappointing though - it was just OK. i gotta give it 3 stars because i feel although the place looking nice is important, food and drinks are even more important. The drinks were weak for an open bar, barely an ounce in any cocktail, i was very unimpressed.

Just had my baby shower at Macaluso's and I can't say enough about it. Elias who helped planned the party was so polite, helpful, and professional. The service, especially Alex, was unbelievable. As soon as a bottle of wine emptied, a new one was on the way. Water glasses never went dry. And the food! Was delicious. Oh! And the venue is absolutely gorgeous! I highly highly recommend Macalusos for your next event!

This place is TOP NOTCH! You're in the best hands when it come to having your event at this spectacular venue! I got married here 5 years ago and just celebrated my daughter's 1st birthday party here as well! Maroon and his staff are so friendly, courteous, and very professional. They truly treat you like family. This is the place for you no matter what you choose to celebrate with them.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. The renovations have really made the rooms incredibly spacious, well lit, and tasteful. Maroon, Elias, and the entire staff were more than accommodating, and were incredibly professional and polite. But the FOOD. OUTSTANDING! Everything I had was amazing. Calamari, risotto, ribs, unique salads, pastas, even the salmon was tasty and properly prepared. The absolute BEST place to hold any event. Ask for Maroon. You won't be disappointed!

Can't ask for a better venue for family parties. The food is spectacular. The space looks amazing with the updated renovations. You will not be disappointed booking with them. The staff are always professional and courteous.

I'm the best man for my buddy's wedding that happened here. It. Was. The. Best. The food buffet, room, dance area, parking and all that were great. But the down home best part was that the wedding planners and staff really made it a fantastic, memorable event right down to the military processional. They had some issues with one of the desserts but more than made up for it. Hey, his bride is a princess and even she was happy with it. Although I am no where near being ready to hitch, I know the place if ever I do.

Went to a wedding here, and it was beautiful. It's a little too Italian in decor for my taste, but most seemed impressed. Staff: friendly and accommodated all my husband's allergies and my grandmas's request to take food home. Good: cocktail hour is where you should focus your belly space- large, varied, and impressive with gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options.

The roasted veggies were particularly tasty. The dinner was lackluster, thought the vegetarian option was a plate of pasta (not my preference). Save room here for the dessert hour, where you can binge on Italian pastries, cakes, fruit (hah), and of course wedding cake by Cake Boss. For me, the pastries were the highlight.

Three words. HACKENSACK HOLIDAY PARTY. Wow what a venue, not sure if it was the wine, the music, the food, or the company that made this place rock so much but it was incredible! My one recommendation which is probably the hospitals choosing is that you have to get there and to the food early as it is out and waiting to be eaten at 7:00pm when the party started.

The side rooms with the pictures was hysterical and the karaoke was legendary. The food was amazing between the stuffed clams, eggplant, fried shrimp, seafood salad, cheese wheel and sliced meats the food was incredible. A + all around, cant wait for next years party!

As a first time visitor to this highly-praised event venue, I couldn't have been any more impressed. The decor, the service, and most importantly the food lived up to all the expectations that I had coming in to the place. My work holiday party was held for the first time this year at Macaluso's and I think it's going to continue to be held there for years to come based on all the positive comments from everyone I spoke to.

For a place to hold hundreds and hundreds of party revelers and still maintain a great sense of elegance is no small feat, but Macaluso's was able to pull it off with grace and style. Boy what a treat it was to celebrate with coworkers and enjoy all the hard work this past year. The place may not be the biggest venue I have been to but its space utilization is perfect.

The main ballroom has a huge dance floor and plenty of space to accommodate a couple hundred guests. The decor is Italian elegance mixed with French flare. You instantly knew it was going to be a classy party as soon as you walked in. Connected to the grand ballroom was another area where the buffet was set-up. Selections were simply too many to recount and the food served was nothing short of perfect.

Everything was scrumptious and I ate every bit of food on my plate until not a single morsel was left. At first I felt so awkward for doing such thing but then I realized that I wasn't the only one who pretty much licked their plate clean. Perhaps that's the biggest compliment I can give--I would have actually licked my plate clean had it not been for my coworker stopping me!

I understand why many people list Macaluso's as a favorite place to hold events. I can only imagine how amazing a wedding would be here. If my holiday party experience was any indicator, any bride would find this place the perfect venue for her special day. Perhaps when I attend a wedding here I can see another side of it, but I have no doubt based on my one visit they will blow any event out of the water.

I only come here once a year for the RBBARI Tricky Tray. The service is outstanding. Its a fixed menu. We start off with the antipasto sald. comes with 3 different kinds of cheese. cheddar /swiss and fresh mozz. olives. mushrooms. and grilled seasoned veggies. so good! Then we are served pasta. pasta is cooked to perfection and there sauce is really good. then we had chicken breast in some kind of wine reduction. the chicken was very juicy.and the sauce was really good. Even though I only come here once a year I will definitely recommend to friends and family for upcoming events

Attended a Summer wedding at macaluso! The reception was held at this location. from the outside it looked like a small little Italian restaurant.but the inside looked so big and elegant. the entrees span all the way to a three course sit down dinner with a full open bar and dancing into the night. I really enjoyed the buffet of appetizers.very delish.

The only thing I had a problem with would be the seats were located a mile away from the buffet.made it extremely hard and difficult to get another plate of food. I thought the decor was nice. Pretty elegant. The center pieces were cutes.kept me entrain all night. The service was great.but I felt hurried because they keep asking me if Im done with my food. first dance for the bride and groom.a father/daughter dance for the bride and her father. possibly a mother/son dance for the son and his mother.and then everyone joins in and partying it up. during the reception.the bride and groom cut the wedding cake and feed each other a bite.towards the end of the reception. the bride did the bouquet toss every single or unmarried women went crazy for it. Tip: chocolate fountain!
