We decided to elope on Kauai and I had no idea where to even begin planning. I asked a friend who had gone prior, and she gave me all of Kaye's information and a good recommendation. I reached out via email and got a quick friendly response, with all of the clear information about how to choose what I wanted and where we wanted to have our ceremony.

She helped us choose an officiant, helped set up the appointment for our marriage license, and quickly answered any questions I had. When we arrived in Kauai, Kaye met with us and showed us the location spot. Day of, she was at our meeting spot on time, and took a lot of photos, even some on our personal phones to share with family. I received the professional photos taken by her in a timely manner and they are beautiful. I can't express enough how happy I am that we chose to go with Maile Weddings. Thanks Kaye!

Kaye was wonderful, very helpful in answering any questions we had. Our wedding turned out just the way we wanted, easy breezy and beautiful. The photos she took were lovely and we received them in the time she told us we would! Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

We had a wonderful experience working with Kaye. She was patient with rescheduling due to COVID and was helpful and reassuring throughout our planning. She had make-up, hair, flowers, music, an officiant and a beautiful location ready for us and our extended family who traveled for the wedding. Our pictures are an amazing way to remember the day! And when our reception plans had to change at the last minute, she smoothly rescheduled everyone for an earlier time and it went so well. I feel that Kaye's services were exceptional and a well worth the reasonable cost!

Kaye was flexible in working with us throughout COVID as we had to reschedule the ceremony a couple times and Kaye stuck with us throughout it. Kaye did a great job directing and focusing everyone for pictures! My husband and I are very silly and not photogenic and Kaye did very well instructing us and creating a comfortable atmosphere. Overall working with Kaye was great, she was friendly, patient, and mellow! : Highly recommend her for anyone looking for a photographer for your beautiful day.

Kaye was so great to work with. She was able to have things set up for our party and things went so smoothly. The setting was wonderful and romantic with our party. She took the time to get great pictures and stayed with us longer than she needed to so we could get great photos capturing the view and the sunset behind us. I would recommed Maile Weddings if you want an organized event and definately for those who our visiting off the island to get married. It was great to have our appointments made, photography and officiant ready when we arrived. Everything was less stressful and so smooth. Thank you again.

Kaye was an incredible wedding planner! Because we had a destination wedding, everything was planned remotely. Kaye was quick to respond and made our ceremony absolutely perfect. I would recommend her to everyone!

Kaye was amazing. She made the process of planning our wedding so easy. She answered every question and gave great suggestions from where to have dinner, cake, hair, makeup, the officiant, and flowers. She ordered the flowers and picked them up. My husband and I highly recommend Kaye at Maile Weddings. A few things that stood out to us was: - She's responsive - Flexible with packages (adding and subtracting where needed) - Reasonable with costs - Made our big day less stressful (she coordinated everything) - I had a super friendly and awesome hair/makeup artist! - Great ukulele player! - Kaye's pictures were amazing!

We had our wedding in June on Anini beach and it couldn't have been more perfect! Kaye was so easy to work with and helped us to plan everything from Utah! Kaye was calm, organized, and patient with us which made the whole process easier. Our photos came out absolutely beautiful and we couldn't be happier with how the whole wedding turned out. I would highly recommend Kaye/Maile Weddings and Photography! I had never been to Hawaii and my fiance and I decided to do a destination wedding in Kauai. I found Kaye through website searches, and after talking to her I decided to hire her as our wedding planner and photographer. She was very responsive; super helpful in giving us recommendations on places to stay, beach locations since we had never been there, and she found someone to do my hair and make up - which also turned out perfectly!

This wedding was so easy to plan, and very stress-free thanks to Kaye. She met us the first day we were in Kauai and showed us some possible beach locations for the wedding day. She was very patient and easy to work with! We also received our photos back and love them! What a dream wedding we had. :

Kaye was extremely helpful and professional. She helped us plan our small wedding on top of the cliffs overlooking Shipwreck beach using our own officiant. She flawlessly arranged our marriage license application appointment and met us at the same time to finalize our plans. Finally, although I have only seen a few so far, the photos look great. I would highly recommend Kaye for your wedding needs.

A few weeks before our trip to Kauai we decided we wanted to get married while we were there. I found maile weddings and worked with kaye on very short notice. she was able to find a Hawaiian performer that would officiate a traditional Hawaiian wedding with the blowing of the conch shell (Donovan Cabebe) which captured that lovely aloha spirit.and help take care of everything that we needed before hand.

Her response time was unbelievable it gave me such peace of mind to know that whatever I asked her she would get back to me really really quickly with an answer. Once we arrived on the island she took us to see several beaches that fit our desired location and she was very patient while we decided which one we liked best (the night before the wedding).

She has a very relaxed demeanor and is so easy to work with I highly recommend her. We haven't received the pictures yet but I'll come back and write another review because I'm sure that they're going to be really really great! thank you Kaye and thank you Donovan Cabebe for making our wedding so special!

My wife and I did a 10 year vow renewal on the beach that Kaye organized. Everything went so smoothly and the pictures turned out great. I can not recommend her high enough. If you are doing an event on Kauai, she is the one to go through. She worked with us on the phone, met in person before the event, went over everything, and the pictures did not take long for us to view.

My husband and I were married in Kauai at a place that was already special to us, Hanalei Bay. Kaye was amazing with working with our request and setting everything up while we waited for our special day on the mainland. Our wedding at the Hanalei pier turned out amazing, we couldn't have asked for better weather and the officiant was great that Kaye set us up with. Kaye, did an amazing job of organizing the simple wedding so I didn't need to take care of anything except getting the licence (which she helped arrange).

She delivered the photos as promised and they were prefect, exactly what we were looking for. The real gold in Kaye is when she continued to help me with a vendor that was a challenge. (This vendor did not originate from her so she really had NO responsibility in helping, she did it out of the goodness of her heart) Since I am on the mainland and she is on the island and knows this vendor, she was able to check in with them on the issue.

I can't tell her how much I appreciated the WAY above and beyond help that she in no way had to do. I would highly recommend Kaye for wedding coordination and photos as she is amazing!

My Husband and I worked with Kay for about 10 months panning a designation wedding and honeymoon in Kauai. Kaye assisted us in so many ways: giving us tips to make good choices. Helping me into my dress, driving me to the wedding location so, my husband wouldn't see me first. I could go on and on Kaye made everything run smooth. I was so relaxed the day of my wedding, no worries at all.

In fact the morning of my husband and I sat on our own private beach in the the ocean and lounged all morning. My expectations were exceeded by so much! It really couldn't have been anymore perfect any than it was. That is. Until we got our wedding photos! The shots Kay captured were amazing. We LOVED them! Anyone making the decision to elope, DO IT! My husband and I decided to plan a last minute beach wedding during our trip to Kauai. With only two months advanced notice, we picked Maile Weddings based on the reviews and packages offered. Kaye made the process very easy, kept in touch via email and phone, and organized a beautifully intimate ceremony at the St. Regis Beach. Our officiant Larry was kind and funny. And the photos taken by Kaye turned out beautifully, despite the cloudy weather. Thank you guys so much! We will never forget the experience.

As soon as we decided on which island to get married on I started looking for quality companies to use. I found glowing reviews for Kaye and our experience echoed those sentiments. She was very responsive via email in the months leading up to the wedding and had everything ready once we arrived. She found the perfect little alcove for us to use for our small ceremony and her photography is amazing. Loved every moment of our experience! We cannot say enough how delighted we are to have selected Kay at Maile Weddings and Photography as our wedding planner for our Wedding on Kauai. My husband and I researched wedding planners online for several weeks and settled on three companies. Kay, as we would later learn is her norm, responded back to us promptly. She is extremely thorough, organized and caring with each of her clients.

I honestly felt like we were her only customer during our planning process. We explained to Kay exactly what we envisioned for our wedding day to be and she helped us narrow down every aspect of the wedding from the beach where we would be married (Ke'e), the right package "Ginger" with the flexibility of adding additional options and the type of ceremony that resonated with us. Kay's passion for what she does shines through in every interaction we had with her.

It is very difficult to imagine planning a wedding from so far away however we never had a moment of stress or worry while working with Kay. We were confident from the start that we were in exceptional hands. Every detail was taken care of up to and including the day we said our vows. As I was boarding the plane for Hawaii I contacted Kay in a panic to find someone that could steam my dress and press my fiance's attire and she came to my rescue with the name and number of a wonderful woman who did an amazing job for us. Kay went over and above for us and was kind enough to pick up my dress at the other end of the island where she was heading later that day, which saved us time and allowed us to enjoy more time on the island. The ceremony was perfect, the pictures are beautiful and the bouquet was gorgeous. We could not have asked for a more amazing and special day and we truly owe it all to Kay.

Kaye did a wonderful job as our wedding coordinator this past October at Hanaley Bay Resort. She is so prompt, always answering emails within a day or so, which took away a lot of the stress of planning. She made great recommendations for all the vendors--all of whom were exceptional, made our appointment for our marriage license and even stayed through the whole wedding and reception to make sure everything went as planned. Kay knows the ins-and-outs of weddings and receptions and because of her, my wedding day was just what I wanted--fun and stress free. Mahalo Kaye!

My now husband and I contacted kaye from San Diego to organize a small beach ceremony while vacationing in kauai. She set up the appointment with the license agent, helped with selecting the location, found our officiate (Rev Glenn was awesome), and even brought our lei. On top of all that, she took amazing pictures of our special day. It was just myself, my then fiance and our 4 year old son and we wanted tons of beautiful pictures to share with our families. Kaye directed us perfectly and captured the moment (and with a 4 year old that can be a challenge!) I would absolutely recommend using Kaye to anyone planning a wedding or simple ceremony in kauai

My wife, Jennifer, and I were married last week, May 11, 2012 at a beach house in Haena, Kauai. The beach setting was amazing, and something we'll never forget, but no good wedding goes off without a coordinator making sure the little details are not missed--enter Kaye and Maile Weddings. If the wedding was going to be a local wedding, we of course, would have done on-sight inspections, but a destination wedding requires a lot of trust in the planner. Kaye was spot on.

In the months leading up to our day, she was always available via email or phone to answer our questions. When the day actually arrived she was a total pro in making sure the nervous groom (me) and bride were relaxed, in a good mindset, and our guests knew where they needed to be and when. I can't wait to see the photos she took, and relive the whole experience again. Great job Kaye.
