In New Castle: We are located on Rt 18/Wilmington Ave., just three doors north from the Dairy Queen and just north from the crossroad of Clen Moore Blvd. We are across the street from Underground Railroad and The Claire Brown Shop. From Mercer County: Travel down 422/376 south, exit at Mitchell Rd. follow to stop light at 18.

My son is getting married soon so I ask around and was given the phone number to call for an appointment. They fitted my son and his bestman for a Tux, vest, bow tie, shirt, shoes and other accessories. It was a wonderful experience and the prices were reasonable. There were lots of styles and colors to choose from; she was very knowledgeable on the current trends. I absolutely loved this experience and would highly recommend this shop.

We came from out of town for another more known/ larger store and were disappointed how terrible the gowns were treated. Finding A Grand Day was just good luck. The owner, Frances, was lovely to work with and so helpful. She takes excellent care of her inventory and was simply lovely to work with. Thank you!

This has been far and away the worst experience in getting tuxedos for a wedding I've ever had in my life. They were mismeasured, misordered, mismeasured again and in the end I'm wearing tuxedo pants that are two inches too short to my daughters wedding. Instead of fixing the mistakes the staff kept insisting they would look good by pulling down on them over and over.
I eventually had to tell them I knew how pants work. But in the end they were to incompetent to fix their mistakes. When my wife called into the owners boyfriend he yelled at her and said we'd been pains in his ass and he didn't want any more business from us. This because we wanted tuxedos for the wedding party that fit properly and were delivered on time.
He had no problem charging a higher rate than anyone in the area. You are in for headaches and heartaches if you choose this shop for your special day. The owners and staff are rude and their product is inferior to any other tuxedo I've worn in my lifetime. You've been warned of the experience if you go here. It will ruin your event.

Fabulous boutique! Don't let the size fool you.they had some of the best gowns of all the places I looked at. I even found The Dress here, made by Casablanca which is a brand I wouldn't have guessed they carried however they had a wide selection of their gowns to choose from and I loved trying them all in with the help of the store stylist. I said YES to my dress here at A Grand Day!

This bridal/special occasion boutique is just a magical hidden gem. My friend referred me, she had went there for her wedding dress/party dresses, tuxes, etc. They are so sweet, and welcoming. These lovely ladies, make you feel just amazing about yourself. Its truly genuine, not like most places where they need the commission. And tell you how great you look, when in fact you dont.
I found THE DRESS, 1 of a kind, Casablanca Mermaid beaded bodice, lace open back, with ball gown fit and flare GORGEOUS! I was shocked when the owner was so sweet, and gave me a discount. Knowing we were planning on paying for our own wedding. I ADORE THIS SWEET LITTLE SLICE OF HEAVEN. If you decide to go though most be extra nice to my girls. CALM/HAPPY/SMILING BRIDES ARE THE MOST MEMOREABLE BRIDES!
