Each wedding photography studio varies in the time it takes to produce and deliver your pictures. Studios that do not do any post production may try to entice you by saying your photos will be ready within the week, or even the next day.

We used him for our family photos. He had has looking into the sun the whole time squinting and did not get any good photos of my kids. The kicker was that he sent us the photo gallery without photoshopping and said he would only photoshop them if we purchased them, which seems a bit lazy to me. How am I going to know if they'll look any better without seeing them finished?

I used Mike Force for my wedding and it was an awful experience! All of my guests thought he was rude and unprofessional. My guests took better pictures than he did. He only took half of the amount of pictures he promised us and his wife did not come with him to take pictures; which was another one of his promises. He was rude to the groom, groomsmen, and father of the bride (my father, the man who was paying him for his services).
He kept disappearing the whole time I was trying to get ready saying he was going to take pictures of the men, but only got 4-6 pictures of them getting ready. He didn't get any good pictures of me walking down the isle. He was taking pictures of my guests taking pictures of me while I was walking down the isle. During the reception, I had to go get him to take pictures of my family on the dance floor because he was too busy talking to the bartender at the back of the room.
He kept going missing for long amounts of time during the reception. He didn't get any good pictures of our exit. I would say I ended up with maybe (and this is being very generous) 20-25 pictures that actually looked decent. He couldn't remember the timeline of events him and I talked about, so he made his own timeline and blamed me for not keeping up with it.
When I told him that I was unhappy with my pictures, he basically blamed me because I wasn't on his timeline that he made up himself. His resolution was offering to photoshop the images I wasn't happy with, but you can't really photoshop an image where my face is making an awkward expression. Hiring Mike Force was a huge mistake and I deeply regret it because I can NEVER get that day back.
