I can't say enough great things about working with Weddings in Sedona for my wedding this last February. Being from Minnesota, I thought it would be somewhat difficult to plan a wedding in a different state. Boy, did they prove me wrong. They went above and beyond for me and my husband. There was never a moment where I was stressed or unsure about what was to come.

They did everything they could to take any stress off my shoulders and just made me feel comfortable and confident that everything was going to be perfect. They were so welcoming, friendly, helpful, and were always available when I needed them. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone I know that is considering an elopement/destination wedding.

Everyone we worked with at Weddings in Sedona was so helpful and kind. It made the wedding planning process less stressful. Susan particularly was a gift and went above and beyond on our wedding day to help ensure our ceremony took place prior to a storm rolling in. She contacted our photographer and shuttle services to move our wedding up a bit so we weren't forced to move our wedding indoors. We didn't have to do much at all, they took care of what we needed them to. Would highly recommend. LGBTQ+ friendly.

We could not have asked for a better team (Susan, Alexandra, Andrea) to make our special day run flawlessly. Originally I thought, "I am organized, I don't think we need a planner" boy was I wrong. All the smallest details, I would have never thought of were addressed. The communication back and forth was amazing, especially knowing how busy they are at this time.

They made sure all vendors were on the same page and everything was completely organized. The tables and decor were set up beautifully. Our wedding went just the way we hoped and dreamt it would be. All we had to do was show up and enjoy the day. We are so very grateful for Weddings in Sedona for going above and beyond to make out wedding perfect.

We used this team's officiant and day of coordinator services and throughly enjoyed working with them. Our only regret is not hiring this team sooner and to provide more planning services because when we finally did, they made our lives 100% easier and it took so much stress off of us. They had wonderful recommendations for anything we asked, and readily offered advice or thoughts in areas we didn't ask about or think of. If you're getting married and in need of a planner, you NEED Susan! She is an absolute angel and will go above and beyond for you to help you plan the wedding of your dreams. I worked with Susan to plan my wedding, and then worked with her to plan it again after we had to postpone due to COVID- Susan could not have made the process any easier! What would have been an incredibly stressful postponement was made bearable because Susan was always on her A-game!

She made sure that every "I" was dotted and every "T" was crossed, and answered all of my questions, no matter how trivial they seemed to me. Susan and the entire Weddings in Sedona team stepped up to help give me the wedding of my dreams and I will never be able to thank her enough. Thank you Susan!

To be honest, I was a few minutes late for my outdoor wedding. That said, the behavior of Susan was unacceptable. She was obviously annoyed and had somewhere else more important to be. The second we signed the marriage license she was gone. She couldn't be bothered to even say goodbye or congratulations. Maybe if you spend thousands of dollars on your wedding you'll get a different experience. If you are looking for a casual, laidback wedding I suggest you use someone else.

We chose this business based on the glowing reviews all over her Yelp page. The first time we met with Susan it was great, she was friendly, welcoming, and excited for our big day. She showed us all the different places we could chose from, it was wonderful! First impressions matter, that's why we chose her! Over the next couple of months it felt as if we were forgot about, we did not hear from her until the week before our wedding "we reached out to her".

Fast forward to the wedding day, this is when we started to not have a pleasant experience. She appeared to be annoyed with us, and acted as if we were a burden to her. She started rushing us to get in line and made it feel very stressful for no reason. We had it all planned out and ready to go. While we were taking pictures it was the same thing, bossing is around and making us move so fast, we didn't even get to enjoy the pictures.

We felt like we annoyed her and she just wanted to leave. She is a very friendly lady just think we made her mad. Make sure to stay in touch with her during the months coming up so you don't get blind sided with the lack of communication. Also, do not run 1 minute late or she will ask you for more money for the photographer. Other than that, you'll have a good time. Wedding venue was perfect, beautiful day, just got caught off guard with her energy.

If you are in need of a wedding planner in Sedona, look no further-Susan and her team at Weddings of Sedona are as good as it gets. My wife and I were both medical students at the time, and only had only 3 months to plan our wedding due to our hectic clinical schedules. As soon as we met Susan for our initial consult, we both had a gut feeling that she was a person we could trust to fill not only the role of our wedding planner, but also to be the officiant of our wedding.

We could tell right away the high level of professionalism with which see approached her job. Furthermore, we knew we could trust her to integrate the distinct cultural and religious backgrounds of our respective families to orchestrate a ceremony that was accommodating to both our family's religions and cultural traditions. Susan was especially helpful with getting all our contracts in line with different vendors in Sedona.

She has great recommendations and a deep understand of the differences between the different venues, florists, DJs, etcs in Sedona. Quite frankly, we would have been lost without her guidance and help. She is highly organized and sticks with deadlines. One of our favorite parts of working with Susan was working on the officiant script for the wedding.

She has a variety of templates to match different spiritual backgrounds, and took the time to make the script personal to us. On wedding day, Susan was everything we needed her to be and more. She runs a tight ship and remained calm and collected when putting out the fires that inevitably arose on wedding day. We have only the fondest memories of our ceremony-and we have Susan to thank for the graceful manner with which she officiated the wedding.

Her performance at the reception was exceptional as well. She took care of dealing with all the vendors so that my wife and I could be present with our 150 guests. Many of whom commented on how beautiful her script at the ceremony was and how impressed they were with how smooth the reception went. In summary, we STRONGLY recommend Susan and the Weddings of Sedona team for anybody who is getting married in Sedona.

We were absolutely blown away by how perfect our wedding was. From the very first fact-finding conversation I had with the Weddings in Sedona team a year ago (1.5 hours long, on a Sunday!) to the finish of our evening last Saturday, we had the pleasure of working with Susan and Alexandra (and team) to realize our special day. They helped us stay within budget, took care of some very specific requests, coordinated with all the vendors, and we were totally worry-free on our wedding day. All we had to do was relax and enjoy each moment, easily done with Weddings in Sedona running the show. We highly, highly recommend their stellar service.

We utilized Weddings in Sedona because we were living in Maryland and getting married in Sedona. Every single person I worked with was amazing. I worked with Susan (the owner) and she truly went above and beyond for us. She helped us plan the day out, find a car service (take care of setting up the car service) and making sure we had everything we needed (and a back-up weather emergency pan as well). Truly, I felt like we were friends of Susan's for how well she took care of us.

Given life happens, we ended up being court-house married in Maryland before our planned wedding a few months later and Susan was our officiant. She did a beautiful job and we loved having her a part of our day and helping make it so amazing and STRESS-FREE. The cost was more than reasonable for the area for the officiant service, car service and other services that were available.

We were married on July 16, 2019 at a very special and sacred Native American Ceremony presided over by Mario Henry Blackwolf. It was an absolute dream and very pleasant experience with the outstanding services by Susan, Weddings in Sedona's Owner, her staff, and our assigned vendors. Kudos to Mariposa's restaurant staff as well. We can't imagine how we could have planned our wedding without the outstanding and professional help by Susan and her staff. Highly Recommended!

My husband and I eloped right after NY with the help of Susan, Alexandra and Jennifer from Weddings in Sedona, and it was perfect. They sent all the info we needed to select a beautiful outdoor venue, had a great selection of talented photographers, we got a great mini (but still pretty big for two people!) wedding cake that was absolutely delicious as well as beautiful, a lovely bouquet using the colors I had selected, a customized ceremony meeting our non-religious needs, and all in all it was a super low-stress process. Which is what we both wanted and needed. We could not have asked for a better wedding or process leading up to it. You are in great hands with this team. Thanks, ladies!

We can't say enough good things about Susan, Alexandra and the Weddings in Sedona team. We found them through a random Google search in January. After reading the very positive Yelp reviews, we decided that we wanted to use them for this special event. We came out here from Boston to get married in a ceremony for just the two of us. Our original plan was to come out to check out the venue in February and then return to perform the ceremony in May or June.

With four days to go before our February vacation, we made a last minute decision to hold the ceremony while we were visiting at that time, instead of waiting. Susan and Alexandra couldn't have been more helpful. They already were pretty amazing, but when we added this layer of complexity by speeding up our plans, they did everything possible to make it happen (no small feat!).

Then to add to the challenge, our plan was to get married the Monday after we arrived. On Sunday morning, it was clear that the weather was going to deteriorate on Monday for our outdoor ceremony, with rain and temperatures in the 40's. With 3 hours before sunset (the ideal time to hold the ceremony), Susan and Alexandra went through amazing hoops to bring all of our vendors (video, photos, music, flowers) on board for a Sunday ceremony instead.

Their attention to detail and ongoing communication made what could have been an incredibly stressful event seamless. The ceremony was beautiful and very meaningful, and the weather on Sunday was stunning. We thank Susan, Alexandra and the Weddings in Sedona for creating an amazing event for us.

We were married on October 3, 2017 at a quiet ceremony presided over by Susan (Weddings in Sedona's Owner). Susan was an absolute dream to work with. She handled everything and our day went off without a hitch. I highly recommend WIS for an intimate wedding. Susan and Alexandra were amazing. We are from Miami, FL and had a destination wedding in Sedona, AZ so we hired them for our day of wedding planner. They were super sweet and treated us like family. Even though we only hired them for day of, it felt like they had been involved from day 1. No detail was overlooked and our wedding was perfect. Literally nothing went wrong and if it did, they took care of it and we never found out.

They took 100% control of all responsibilities on the day of our wedding and made sure that we (bride and groom) didn't have to worry about anything and could just enjoy our big day. Planning a wedding with out being there can be challenging; however, Susan made the process practically effortless.
