As a kid, there was nothing better in my eyes than one of those giant, round, rainbow swirled lolly pops often found in theme parks that turn your whole face purplish-black and make everything you touch uber sticky. I used to beg my parents to buy me one and never relented until they finally gave in. Clearly, those days are long over with, but I still crave a good, sugary lolly pop every now and again. Fortunately, I don't have to venture into a theme park to get one anymore. Instead, I can go to Sugar Sugar, which is located in City Walk, just outside of Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.
This place is every kid's and sugar fanatic's dream come true with a sea of candy greeting you when you walk in and a wide variety to choose from. Hard candy is essentially what a lolly pop is and what this store specializes in. While they have plenty of lolly pop flavors, size and shapes to choose from, they have their own spin on things as well.
If you simply want something to satisfy that sweet tooth and want to avoid the sticky mess that often comes along with those oversized lolly pops, you can opt for the lolly rocks or the pillows. Both options fit perfectly into your mouth, look exactly as the name implies and are about the same size.that's really the only difference between the two candies.
There are number of flavors, some unique to each type of candy. Also, certain flavors of the pillow lollies have a gel-like filling that intensifies the overall experience. Yummy! Aside from buying lolly candy, you can also customize your treats for any and every occasion imaginable! You simply choose the flavor and type you want as well as what you would like it say or have on it and they do all of the work for you.
Only up to 14 letters can fit, but as far as shapes and logos go I'm pretty sure the sky's the limit.within in reason of course. Their custom lolly candies are perfect for wedding or party favors and fit neatly in small packaging. This would work especially during wedding season in Florida because chocolate just does not work well in the heat.but lollie do!
Fun is the perfect word to describe the atmosphere of this place. It's very clear that most of the employees enjoy their jobs and have a good time making the lollies and interacting with the customers. This definitely makes for a satisfying experience on the cusomter's end. Prices aren't too bad, but anything custom made usually requires some extra funds. Overall, I'm a fan!
