The Silver Lake Ballroom lends itself as the perfect special event venue. Silver Lake Ballroom is located in a three story Art Deco building located in Shreveport, Louisiana. Built in 1931, this event venue impresses timeless style both inside and out. The bright, airy rooms feel spacious, even when they are filled with guests.
It's 3000 square foot of open space purposely designed in neutral tones, is adorned with red gum molding, six gold mirror chandelier light fixtures and original terrazzo floors. Stylish decor featuring large ceiling to floor showroom windows allow natural light to fill the room. A beautiful room to enjoy getting ready in for your special day with your best friends and maternal family.

I corresponded with the coordinator, Emily, at Silver Lake ballroom via phone and email for several weeks. When I mentioned that my fiance and I were both male the coordinator simply stopped replying to my emails. When I tried to reach out via phone. I could not get any call backs. If Silver Lake Ballroom did not want to do business with us because we are LGBTQ that is fine.
I would rather give my 10's of thousands of dollars to someone who wants it. Like 601 Spring who was very accommodating or Terri at Supper Club. The problem I have is the unprofessional way this was handled. Just tell us you don't want to or can't work with us. YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO ADMIT WHY! If you want to stand on your "moral" conviction then do that.

This place is gorgeous! It is so unique to any other venue in Shreveport. The outside area is so amazing. A real gem to Shreveport! I also think they have an incredible staff that was very helpful. I appreciate all that they include and I did my research! They are top notch and very reasonable in price.

We recently had a party at the ballroom. Everything was amazing. Allie went above and beyond to help arrange and coordinate the event. She made us very comfortable in our first meeting. From the decor to food arrangements everything was taken care of just the way we wanted. They have amazing collection of centerpieces drapes and table linen. All in all I would have to rate it as one of the best experiences we have had so far in arranging a beautiful party at a reasonable price.
