Nedrebo's Formal Wear

Booked an appointment at the west side location. Got an email the night before that they were closing and said that everything was being directed to the east side. Went to the east side at our appointment time (10am when they opened) and did not have our appointment honored. I'm more upset that we were not even called and notified that we were not going to be able to have an appointment that we scheduled weeks in advance.

The staff is truly knowledgeable and cares so much about each piece of the wedding or special event!

Had a fantastic experience working with Taylor and other staff members for our wedding. Taylor helped us every step of the way, answered all of our questions, made suggestions and made sure to fix any issues we had. We had a few last minute items that needed to be ordered and Taylor made sure they were overnighted. I highly recommend them for piece of mind for any occasion!

If you had asked me what my review for Nedrebo's would have been a few weeks before the wedding, I would have given them 1-star (only because you can't go any lower). We originally got our measurements taken at the Madison west side location but ended up postponing our wedding due to COVID. When we rescheduled, it became extremely hard to get ahold of them, when we (or members of our party) were able to get ahold of them it was always conflicting information and the measurements that their former manager at the Madison west side location took were off by multiple inches.

The week of the wedding, our suits came in and I was dreading the try-on with all the problems we had before we postponed. However, what turned this review around was Shawn. Shawn was able to correct all the mistakes that were made from when we had worked with their staff at the west side Madison location (before it temporarily closed). The previous manager forgot to input the correct vest color for the groom and Shawn had it overnighted to their store and even drove it all the way out to our venue on the day-of. I can't say enough good things about Shawn because he completely turned our experience around.

Couldn't find the correct color of suits, for our wedding, that we wanted in La Crosse, so we came down to Madison and Nedrebo's was the only one we could find with what we wanted! Very welcoming staff and very friendly, wanted to help accommodate with anything that we needed help with. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience renting a tux from Nedrebo's Madison East. The event was located a couple of hours outside of Madison so some of my family members needed to pick up for me. When I tried everything on it looked great but the shoes were a bit too big and the pants had a stripe on the side which I did not expect. I contacted the store (which was always very busy) and explained the situation.

They took the time to help me and made sure that I would be taken care of. They allowed another family member of mine to pick up several extra pairs of pants on their way out to the event. On top of that they also shipped a pair of shoes and another pair of pants via FedEx overnight so it would arrive in time for the event. The day of the event I received a phone call from Shawn at Nedrebo's who offered to drive all the way from Madison and deliver anything else that I still needed.

All of the staff was incredibly accommodating from start to finish. I would highly recommend Nedrebo's and am sure that it is the best option for mens formal wear rental in the Madison area.

The suit received was quality and looked amazing, but during the process of ordering, they lost my measurements, so I had to have them redone. Also when I came to try my suit on, they didn't have the pants at that time, so I had to come back and get them a separate time

Worst suits for a wedding I have ever had. Every persons suits fit wrong after arriving and then arrived the day before the wedding so there was no time for adjustments. Also 3 of the 5 suits had very "questionable" stains on them when picked up and they would not/did not fix the stains prior to giving them to us. Sleeve lengths were several inches off, one persons waist was so off the pants could not stay up.

Their solution was to give him suspenders so his pants did not just fall off. Funniest issue was the fact half the suit coats front jacked pocket was sewn shut so we had to ditch the matching colored handercheifs we paid for so we could still match. Do not go here unless you want to overpay for something you want to look bad.

Each one of our 7 groomsman's tuxes had a mistake when we picked them up. One with short sleeves. One with high water pants. One with a jacket too small. Etc. Not one single order was entirely correct.

Overall, we had a good experience with Nedrebo's for our groomsmen attire (rentals). The value was unmatched compared to other men's formalwear stores in the area, though four members of the wedding party had major issues with the fit of their suits initially. This was remedied by the Nedrebo's staff within 24 hours, and everyone looked great for our wedding day.

The low star rating of this review is mostly due to the pretty much complete incompetence of the employee that I dealt with. So I had to rent a tux from Nedrebo's for my Friend's wedding at which I was a groomsman. When I went in for a fitting, the issues were obvious. 1. The shirt I was given could have fit a person 2 times my size. The arm length and neck were correct, but the shirt was extremely wide.

When I mentioned this, the employee just said that this was really the only one that will work because if I got a slim fit, it would be too tight. I want to mention at this point that I own several suits and many dress shirts that all fit fairly perfectly without any alterations, so the fact that they couldn't find something for me is either because they don't carry any stock or their employees just have no idea what they are doing. 2.

When selecting the jacket, I was offered a 54L to wear. Now normally, I wear a 46L, maybe a 48L. How in the world did she come up with a 54. When I mentioned this, I was just told that "The measurements are just put in a formula and they work their way down from the largest" That really doesn't make too much sense does it? If you had measured correctly, you wouldn't need to go that many sizes up, that's just insanity. 3.

After all this, when I came to pick up the suit, I pointed out some similar issues and the employees excuse was "well sometimes, even if I put in the correct measurements, corporate will go in there and change it if they think it's not right" I mean how is that my problem? Why in the world would you tell that to a customer? Overall, the tux was just ok, which honestly is very disappointing, considering I paid $200 to wear it just one night. I would recommend you consider other locations, or just buy a nice suit instead. It will cost the same and you'll have a suit for life.

We had Sara for our tux fitting and she was phenomenal! She truly went above and beyond. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our wedding due to family problems but we will definitely be back in the future. I highly recommend this store and Sara is the best! Thank you so much! It doesn't go unappreciated.

I'm in town for my sister's wedding this weekend. I arranged and paid for my tux months in advance. They supposedly guarantee that your tux will be in the day before the event. But I'm not sure they understand what guarantee means. Mine wasn't there. Instead it came this morning. Four hours before the wedding. Jacket was too small, pants were stained and they gave the whole party (except one of us) ties instead of bow ties.

They offered a solution. A random set of patterned and plain bow ties, to rectify the situation. Nice. Anyway, I recommend you go somewhere else. This is supposed to be the easy part. This place makes it very complicated.

I recently used Nedrebo's Formal Wear to rent a tux for a wedding I was in just outside of Madison. Nedrebo's is located in a small strip mall right off Washington Avenue in Madison. While I have not rented a tux since high school prom, at $185.00, the rental price at Nedrebo's seemed a little steep to me. oh well I coughed up the money and picked up my tux.

From the moment I walked in, the staff was very welcoming and helpful. I absolutely hate fittings, but the staff was friendly and they helped make the process less dreadful. I had flown into Wisconsin from out of town and had never had an opportunity to try anything on prior to my arrival one day before the wedding. When the jacket seemed a little too large, they quickly called over to another store and had a new jacket delivered that same day within a couple of hours.

Although I do not plan on being in Madison anytime soon, I would not hesitate to recommend Nedrebo's to someone looking to rent a tux. They even throw in the pocket square to keep! While the price seems a little high to me, maybe I am just out of touch with the current going rate for the rental of a tux. The staff is friendly and I was extremely surprised and appreciative at their willingness to quickly get over a new jacket for me on such short notice.

I honestly cannot say one good thing about my experience at Nedrebo's in Madison. My brother got married this past weekend and they handled the groomsmen and the bride and groom's tuxedos. It took several attempts to correct some fitment problems. The measurements were recorded incorrectly by one of the staff. Not to mention several hours of wasted time created by an inexperienced staff.

One would assume Friday would likely be the busiest day for a formal wear store considering many wedding are on Saturday. No one should have to wait over 2 hours to try on a tux. Either hire more staff or hire staff that can multitask. Or perhaps the folks working at the East Washington location just do not care. Whatever the case please avoid this place at all costs.

Several hundred dollars were spent by my family for poor customer service and incompetence. Whatever the case please look elsewhere. Remember it's your money spend it wisely.
