From our first phone conversation with you we'll begin coordinating your wedding. We'll meet with the two of you initially to insure we'll be a good fit, get a sense of your personalities and what you both desire your Wedding Day to be. Your visions along with our ideas and suggestions will combine to create a personalized wedding ceremony or reception with your initials on it. Our tuxedo attired Masters of Ceremonies and D.J.'s will interact with your guests, make necessary announcements and make sure all runs smoothly.

Marquis Entertainment uses the 'Pixie' open air design photo booth, which quickly assembles either indoors or outdoors and allows waiting guests the opportunity to view others. Our packages are designed for use during cocktail hour and dinner to separate the photo booth experience from your dance party.

Thanks Marquis for making our wedding one of the best days ever! From the very beginning, we knew everything would be alright because he made sure we kept a smile on our faces. Marquis was great at making our wedding like a movie and kept telling us that the two of us and him were a team. He helped us pick out our music and made sure it flowed right.
Our family and friends enjoyed his entertainment, personality, and jokes. He guided us throughout our wedding and kept everyone laughing, smiling, and dancing. The photobooth was also a hit; thank you Marquis for being patient with our guests and allowing them to take more pictures than agreed upon. We know our wedding wouldn't have been a success without him.
A big thanks for listening to us and lifting our spirits when we were down, especially with the wind on our wedding day. Marquis was the best DJ, officiant, and coordinator. Forever grateful, Tia & Joe P.S. Marquis always had that expression in the attached picture throughout the wedding.

The first time we Met Marquis, we knew we wanted him at our wedding. When we first met with him, for our wedding, he asked us how we wanted our wedding to be. We thought we had everything down that we wanted to do. He brought up many things we didn't think about. With the help of his planning, our wedding turned out memorable for us and everyone, like he said it would.
He made everything go smoothly. He recommended a photo booth, which made it fun and entertaining for our guests. Everybody had a great time with Marquis at the wedding. We had so many great comments about Marquis from our guest. If you can hire him I definitely recommend it.

Amazing service. He helped us through every step of the way planning for each section of the wedding. During the rehearsal and wedding, he would always keep everyone laughing and in high spirits. Marquis is a very energetic and charismatic person, and will make sure your wedding is like a movie. I was nervous in general about the wedding going perfectly, but Marquis even exceeded my expectations and made the wedding a truly memorable experience.

The best wedding DJ in Northern California. He helped us from day one till the very end. He was very professional and straight to the point. We had a small wedding at Mickie Grove Park in Lodi Ca. Everything ran very smooth. If you are nor sure of something just shoot him a text and he will respond promptly with advice. If you don't have a venue or photographer he will help find you one. Don't hesitate. Call Marquis. Thanks Again Marquis. You made our wedding a beautiful one!

Note: This was written by my wife, and I get to post it since I have the yelp account. If you can hire Marquis Entertainment, go for it! We actually did not have Marquis himself as our MC and DJ, but William Smith. Still couldn't be happier! When I found out about the replacement, Will reached out to me and invited me to a bridal fair as well as a karaoke event occurring some months before our wedding.
My then fiance and I attended the karaoke event and got a sense of Will's professionalism and flair for getting people on the dance floor! Sure enough, when our big day came along, Will kept a fun atmosphere the whole time, and I remember the best man turning to my newly wedded husband saying, "he's good!" He played all of the songs we requested, and kept everything running on time. Speaking of song requests, my newly wedded husband and I thought we had some nerdy and obscure choices, but this was no problem for Marquis.
He found all the songs, and Will played them all at the right times. In planning for the big day, I was able to chat with Marquis and his daughter, Marquesa, about details. Marquis prides himself in attending the rehearsal as well as the wedding, but Will Smith could not attend the night before the wedding. Marquis made it a point to meet my husband-to-be and I at the venue a few days before to help us stage the ceremony. Marquesa came to the actual rehearsal, and she was still able to call Marquis on his cell whenever we forgot what we practiced with Marquis!
At midnight, the eve of the wedding, I got an email from Marquis reminding us to hold hands throughout the ceremony and only let go for the rings. That last minute detail made all the difference in ensuring our ceremony was picture perfect. Upon looking at guests' photos of the ceremony, we can see that Marquis' directions were spot on! I have seen Marquis and Will perform in the Stockton/Lodi area, but fortunately, they were able to service our wedding in Placerville. We are truly delighted to have invested in them!

Very detail oriented with the wedding ceremony. learned everyones name as a matter of priciple. went over each roll to the detail. reception equally good. marquis and his son know what theyre doing. been to dozens of wedding and hes the best! almost want to get married again. if not for all the work and expense. hes worth every penny even if your budget is tight. thanks again bro

Marquis was the DJ for our wedding in October 2012. He was amazing. All of our friends/family couldn't believe he remembered all of their names. That's right! He remembered every single person at our wedding! I chose Marquis over the other DJ's because I wanted a DJ that was approachable, personable, and was a good entertainer. From the start, Marquis assisted us with planning the day like ".a movie" as he states.
He made it about "us" and "our day" regardless of the other requests we were getting. He made sure that our day went smoothly. Marquis is a man who wears many different hats. Aside from being our DJ he also ordained our ceremony. He was very professional. We and our guests had a wonderful time. Oh, and at the end of the day he gives you a copy of your music.
I get nostalgic at times listening to the CD he gave me. Thank you Marquis for your wonderful service and professionalism. I highly recommend Marquis Entertainment for your special events.
