I fell in love with this venue from the first time I saw it and knew it was where I wanted to get married. Everyone I worked with was super helpful and the pricing was very fair. When it came to the day of it rained right after the ceremony and they already had a coordinated back up plan that they excicuted perfectly. I am so thankful I had this team there to make my wedding day so special.

We got the location thru a fundraiser in Oct of 2019. They offered in the package with a value of $4000. A 6 hour segment of time for our event. Well during the life auction there was no mention of it only be able to use it Jan-April. And all Saturday's were excluded. Well we thought this would be great when we bid on it for our rehearsal dinner next year July.
Not knowing pretty much most of the year was blacked out. So we bid and won. For a decent amount close to the value. We contacted the venue to book because our day would be a Thursday we hoped he would consider. We mentioned we had no idea about the black out dates till we got our certificate a day later. But he wasn't willing to work with us.
He said contact me in 2020 a month before your date we will see if it's still open it's yours. Well due to covid we thought now it might be available. We are in phase 2 and they are aloud to seat people up to 5 a table, tables 6 feet apart. We would need 12 tables. He said no, he won't do it. He donated this without any intention of really following up to it.
So really his donation is bogus. We are willing to be flexible due to the times we are in and our event isn't till middle of July. Hopefully we will be in phase 3 by then. Even tho with some ingenuity it possible to make it work. But not Bob he won't. I don't believe he ever meant to fulfill his offer he donated

Beautiful historic mansion located on the lower South Hill. Lots of steep, tall, granite steps. Inside, beautiful woodwork, painted ceilings, and leaded glass are present. Not a large venue, this was a great locale for our intimate gathering. The onsite caterers prepared some delicious meals and provided excellent service. Parking is very limited in the front, so do yourself a favor and park around back in the lot off 9th shared with Providence Medical Center. 9th is a one way street here headed north/east.

I attended a wedding here this fall it was a really great venue from a guest perspective. I liked the downtown location with on site parking. The food was absolutely delicious and we had great service from the attendants. The wedding ceremony and dance was held outside in the courtyard and the dinner was held inside.

We had our daughter's wedding catered by Red Rock catering. I have to say that it was the best decision I made! We had an offsite, outdoor location that they had to work with. Not only was the food delicious but the presentation was spot on. They had two members of their staff there and they were friendly and professional. The guests were raving about the food. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have their event catered.

For all the high reviews and the amount of money spent at the Glover Mansion I would expect better communication, customer service, and professionalism. I did not have a good experience and I would not recommend having an event/wedding here or any location that this management owns. I paid too much for the lack of service and doing a lot of the work myself before, and during the wedding.
After the wedding it has been extremely hard to get a hold of anyone. The wedding overall went well because of my high organization, timelines, and layouts. Even though I was paying for a coordinator they were pretty much useless. My day of coordinator did not dress very professional and she was constantly hard to find for my family and me. We had to continually ask for things that were already on our contract and timeline.
Because of the lack of service I was not able to relax as much as I would have liked to at my wedding. The food provided by Red Rock Catering is really good, I only recommend using this businesses catering and none of their other services or locations.
