Simple Elegance is a full-service event design and consulting firm dedicated to bringing to life the wedding dreams of the discerning bride. We are available to assist you at any stage in your wedding planning, whether you have just begun or your big day is about to arrive. We provide planning and decorating services along with DJ, Lighting and a Photo Booth. The passion and commitment is evident within our founding group. Miranda Davis is one of two highly experienced consultants for Simple Elegance Design, located in Bloomington, Illinois. She partnered with Julie Schumann in 2007 to begin their business venture. Her passion for event planning and design led her to take on the challenging task of planning and designing her own wedding in 2003.

Coordination services designed for the couple who have put all the pieces together, but would like to sit back and enjoy their wedding day as they have envisioned. Starting at two weeks prior to your event Senior Consultants will oversee the planning and design of your wedding. Implementation of rehearsal and wedding day me be executed by qualified assistants. Warning. DO NOT PRE-PAY for services. My wife and daughter met with Simple Elegance twice to discuss wedding plans. We paid a deposit to reserve a date and then made another partial payment. This is where we made the mistake of paying too soon. The balance was not due until 30 days before the event. No other meetings had taken place when the wedding was cancelled.
While we understand the deposit is non-refundable, Simple Elegance had seven months notice for the cancellation and they will not refund the partial payment. Do not pay in advance.

Miranda and Julie were great to work with! They let us customize a package that had only the services we needed. They were pleasant and easy to work with, very responsive to messages, and had good local vendor contacts. They were also extremely helpful on the day of the wedding -- they did all the set up and clean up, including the floral decorations -- so that we could enjoy the day without having to worry about the logistics. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

They did an awesome Job. I'm a guy and I don't usually care about this stuff but seriously we didn't worry about anything. The planning, the decorations were great. We actually enjoyed the day. Our families were not rushing. It was so different than so many of our friends who seem so frustrated on their wedding. We weren't because of the Simple Elegance Team.
