I have booked a wedding consultation a month in advance. Called tue day b4 to see if we could get some flexibility with our appointment since we were coming from the Bay Area. As I asked questions she repeated herself statement twice and the second time louder as if I couldn't hear her. Did our best to make it to the appointment and was 15 min late to a hour consultation.

She came out and said she can not do the consultation because we were late. Was emotion less and unaccommodating. Will NEVER be back or recommend to get wedding cakes here. I have been a long time customer and there was no reason to be treated like that.

We are shopping for a business to make my daughters wedding cake. We called today to make an appointment and we're told that none was needed if we came in after 9:30am. The employee asked for my daughters cell number and when reading it back, one number was off. My daughter repeated the correct number back to the employee. The employee then said to my daughter, "if you would have said that more clearly and slower, I might have heard you the first time".

This seems to be a huge red flag before we even come in for the first time. Decided not to have Eddie's make our cake. When your employees chase off potential customers, perhaps they should not be allowed to answer the phone.

Drove ALL the way across town and spent 40 bucks on a pink champagne cake. Where the pink champagne at? This cake tasted like California rolls. So disappointed smh

So disappointed in Eddie's bakery. I called to see if they can make a heart shaped cake and came in to show them what I wanted. The lady helping me said a black cake wouldn't be good so I was okay with getting a white cake with black borders and writing. I asked if they wanted the reference photo but brushed it off as simple and they didn't need it.

When I went to pick up my cake it was so disappointing, the person who wrote on it didn't even position it in the center and the border piping did not match at all! I have the reference photo and the next is my actual cake.

Was a cute place would love to try more things there just didn't have the time the pink champagne cake is good.

Order a cake for my husband's 50th birthday party. When I went to pick it up if wasn't anything close to what I ordered. The gentleman looked to see who took my order and he said well that figures. Apparently whoever took my order doesn't know what they're doing. Very disappointed and embarrassed with the cake I had to serve my guests. I will never order another cake from Eddie's!

Today my daughters and granddaughter came over to celebrate my birthday and brought me this fruit filled sponge cake with the most delicious cream with lady fingers surrounding the cake tied with a pretty yellow bow

Eddie's is a pleasant bakery that offers upscale pastries and cakes. Eddie's seems to take basic desserts to the next level. Bear claws are so light and airy. The creme brulee offers a wonderful hardened sugar that cracks under the pressure. I think I'll make this treat a weekly pleasure.

I ordered a quarter sheet cake for a friend's birthday. White cake with fresh strawberries and whipped cream filling. The cake was very dry and there were hardly any strawberries in the center. The cake was $70.00 and I was super disappointed with what I got. I definitely feel like this place is going down, definitely not the Eddies I remember.

So many mixed reviews for Eddie's. Five stars are thrown out there like sprinkles or one star like the last broken cookie in a display case. (I'm speaking metaphorically, maybe it's the sugar high from my bakery treats today! There were NO lonely broken cookies in the case). Service has always been great on my visits. Everything in the display cases looks so yummy when I visit, sometimes it's hard to decide what to choose.

One of my absolute favorites is the individual strawberry pizza.it really hits the spot! Today I stopped in for a little something. There was one strawberry pizza left and I heard it calling my name. I also got a couple bear claws and a red velvet cupcake. The cupcake was delicious. Fresh and moist cake, not too sweet, with a delectable cream cheese frosting.

The strawberry pizza had just the right amount of everything.cream cheese filling, berries, glaze, graham cracker crumbs and crust. I tried just a piece of the bear claw (hey, I've got to taste it to review it!). It was really good, just the right amount of sweetness, filled with almond paste, drizzled with a glaze and sprinkled with sliced almonds. Eddie's still gets my vote.give them a try and see what you think.

My sister and I order two different cakes at this location and got a different type of cake on the day of our event, instead of fixing the issue, we were told that it might of been a miscommunication and for us to get our refund, we needed to take the cake back to the bakery. This was an inconvenience because, we had to drive about 35 minutes to return the cake. The only reason, we order at this location was because it was recommended to us.

Whenever I need a pastry, I get it from Eddie's. Extremely unique and tasty!

I love their cakes and cookies. Their quality has improved and art of decorating are more refined & refreshing. The staff is more attentive and pleasant. Shout out to Rebecca - who is a trainee. She served me twice and she is consistently pleasant, professional and observant. She is the first one who helped me with my two cakes, and cookies purchases. She is poised with good customer service, a gem to keep.

First time customer and completely dissatisfied! Even the supporting staff admitted the quality was poor! An order for a custom cake was placed nearly two weeks in advance. I went yesterday for pick up and waited an extremely long time while staff said they were trying to "locate" the cake. Eventually another staff member admits there is no cake and they missed the order.

I only received the partial custom cookies. She has no other explanation. She offered to have a cake delivered as their cake decorator was going to return in a few minutes. At this point I already knew the quality was going to be garbage since it was going to be rushed. I had to ask for a partial reimbursement for this MAJOR inconvenience since I spent over $200 at this establishment hoping to get the quality of service I paid for.

The delivery staff brings the cake, and what a joke! Even the staff agreed it was a poor quality job on the cake as you could visibly see uneven line markings beneath the additionally uneven gold shades of the design. To have your staff admit your work is garbage just goes to show the time you really put into this. Never will I go here again or ever recommend this joke of an establishment to anyone.

I could've just purchased a better cake made at the local grocery store.at least they would be able to apply symmetrical lines and be cognizant to remove faulty issues on the cake before selling. Plus, I'm sure they wouldn't forget a WHOLE custom cake order.

Very disappointed to write this review being that Eddie's Pink Champagne cake is an office favorite! Today we ordered a pink champagne cake for an office bday. We cut it up and served it only to find out that it was STALE and tasted terrible. I called to let the store know that we were displeased and they asked me to bring the cake back so they could see what you could do for me!

That is horrible customer service. I'm not going to pack up the cut up cake and take a drive back across town so that you can make sure that your cake was not stale?! I was in shock at how they handled the situation.

The Pros: First time customer. 4 Stars because Perla was very nice, helpful and welcoming. The cream cheese on cupcakes were very creamy and the cupcakes were very moist! The Cons : There were no pricing in bakery goods displayed in the window. It's Pricey for cupcakes, strawberry tartlet, and for cookies.

We ate the muffins, Tea & Hot chocolate in house. They were delicious. We took the ones in the picture home. I liked the orange one more. Definitely will be returning.

Absolutely loved how my daughters first birthday cake came out. Exactly what I wanted. I purchased a small smash cake as well. It was perfect size and so cute! Thank you!

We order cakes at Eddie's Bakery frequently, so imagine our surprise when we lift the Pink Champagne cake out of the box and it's lopsided! Not just a little but a LOT - like an inch difference on each side. How can they miss this?! Disappointed that Eddie's would sell and have you pay full price on a pre-ordered cake that is lopsided.

For a few years we stopped preordering the cakes because we found them dry and old tasting. We would just buy from what was out and available. This time, we were short on time and thought we would preorder - what a mistake. There is quality control is an issue at Eddie's.

Eddie's Bakery is always a joy to visit! The employees are pleasant and helpful and their selection is amazing! Their bakery items are as delicious as they look, which isn't the case with many bakeries. From custom cakes, to macarons and other cookies, to breakfast pastries, one is sure to find exactly what they are looking for. They also have some great coffee as well as a coffee bar for self service.

Safety protocols are in place with employees wearing masks as well as acrylic safety dividers in place. Also, they have a lovely outdoor covered patio for your safety and comfort for you to be able to enjoy your tasty treats and be able to practice social distancing during the pandemic. The carrot cake my husband and I shared on their patio during our last visit was delicious!

(I give one star only because I've had one prior "acceptable" experience, otherwise I'd give them Zero.) Eddies came highly recommended from a number of people so, we ordered a smash cake for my daughters first birthday. Now, at the beginning of September I called to set up an appointment to do a cake tasting and talk about ordering a large wedding cake.

It's been about 3 weeks since my first call. I've called 3 times and have not been able to get ahold of a live person. I missed one phone call from a live person, returned the call within minutes, and to this day have not received a call back. Must be nice to be so flooded in business they don't return a Bride's phone call. Even if it's just to say "sorry, we're booked on that date." Terrible. Edit 10/2/2021: The day after this review I received a call from Taylor to schedule this consultation. So, I did.

We had an appointment at 10:00 to which Taylor eventually greeted us at 10:13. In a nearly empty shop. Hardly any patrons. Not only was she late, the cake sampling we asked for was not prepared and no "copies of information" had been made for us. "But I can go make a quick copy of those if you want." What else would we be there for, if not information for a cake?

Isn't that what a consultation is for? Anyway. Very disappointed in Eddies and the customer service. Won't be ordering our multi tier cake from them for our wedding. I will be taking business elsewhere and unfortunately will not be recommending Eddie's to anyone.

Costco Danishes ain't got nothin on Eddies Danishes! Let me tell you a story. Once upon a time there was this little child (7 years old) his dad was not French, yet made the best French pastries this wee young lad had every laid his taste buds on. When the lil squirt had aspirations of being as good as his dad, but he soon realized the impossibility of this.

So the lil munchkin grew in stature all the while knowing what a pastry made with love tasted like. The then lil squirt became a young man in search of the best pastries up and down the West Coast. Oh, I was once the lil squirt, my dad IS still FREAKIN amazing at making pastries, but Eddies is a pretty close "2nd" place to my dad. This doesn't mean they should be a 4 star, it just means my Dad - if he had a google rating (don't get your hopes up world he only likes baking for close loved ones), would be a 6 star. ACTUAL REVIEW: The boysenberry Danish was still warm when I ate it shortly after they opened (6 am), the filling tasted like homemade boysenberry jam, NOT like the nasty canned filling, the Danish itself was light and flaky, and had the special touch that comes with bakers who take their time and don't over work the flaky dough prior to cooking.

I also recommend you get their chocolate almond filled croissant if you like those flavors, I do personally! Coffee: Average, not special. They serve Peets coffee, and I ordered an Oat milk Carmel Macchiato. I like my coffee drinks iced and extra sweet. The sweetness is on par, however the coffee flavor is too acidic, and a bit bitter, not smooth. Still, not a terrible coffee, there's just other places I'd rather go for a sweet coffee drink. This is my first coffee drink I've had here, so this may be a one off. Nonetheless I came here for the pastries not the coffee.

If you want really delicious and fresh pastries you gotta stop by. The chocolate eclairs are my favorite but everything is yummy. Their pastries do not have that yucky artificial aftertaste of so many other bakeries.

I just don't get the appeal behind Eddie's Bakery, and I feel like I've given them more than enough chances to win me over. Over the years I've ordered macarons, pear tarts, cookies, a 1/4 Nicoise Cake and a personalized Birthday Cake as well as random little treats.and all have just been meh. They get points for the execution of the product and some for friendliness, although some of their employees are downright rude at times.

When you walk in you're supposed to take a number, but not every employee honors that so then it becomes a free for all and a cluster effff. A male employee had seen me standing there, but took several customers before me. The most recent order was a birthday cake that was ordered by phone due to me traveling at the time. It was a bit difficult to explain, but when I picked it up the girl had understood exactly what I wanted so that was appreciated!

The cake however was a total disappointment when it came time to eat. It was incredibly dry and crumbly, all the moisture had been sucked out of it. Partygoers were letting their ice cream melt into it before taking a bite. And on top of it, the cake was void of any flavor. I could've whipped one up from the Dollar Tree and been better off. There are much better options in town, time to permanently cross Cousin Eddie off my list.

I've had pastries from there before and they were amazing in the Christmas time. And you don't even need a lot of them you can have one small pastry and they are filing. I recently went there on a mommy daughter date and it was a good experience I got full off of one pastry It was amazing.

A little late on writing a review for this place after coming here for years. They have cakes, cupcakes, cookies and pastries. They also serve breakfast and lunch. I usually come here for the cakes. The Pink Champagne is one of my favorites, it's a beautiful cake, fluffy and light and not overwhelmingly sweet it's just perfect. If you don't order ahead the cakes on the shelves are usually first come first serve. I've ordered a custom cake here once about 6 years ago it was buttercream a regular round 8 marble and it cost about $80 which at the time I thought was alittle over priced but it's was cheaper compared to the other bakeries I quoted. Recently visited to get the Cake of the Month: Mocha. The cake is very dense and moist.

Wow! I am surprised I am barely writing a review for this place as I have been coming to this bakery for years! This place always in my opinion has the best custom cakes so far! My review is definitely overdue since 2012 I have been a fan of Eddies since! From first birthdays to anniversary's Eddies have never failed to bring what we wanted and generated years of fond memories!

My most recent trips were December 2019 for my boyfriends 30th birthday which I forgot to get pictures of. Which I ended to getting 2 Red Velvet Cupcakes, 1 salted Carmel and cookies. Recently I got a cake for my sisters birthday as she wanted bumble bees. This would have been a 5 star review however the person who took my order DID NOT tell mr that they added an extra $5 fee to the cake order which total came in to $50 but I guesss $45 with out the extra fee which was for placing the order within 72 hours which should have been disclosed to me.

Then you seriously have to wait in a LONG line just to pick up a preordered cake. I stood in line to the cashier for 5 minutes then once I was first in line the worker told me to move to the other line when I told her I was just picking up a $50 dollar cake. Not happy about that as staff could have told me that. I totally could have stayed where I was as it only took 30 seconds that was seriously it.

I was so annoyed. Anyways their cakes are bomb! They even did my 6 year old niece first birthday smasher cake which was Minnie Mouse! After these experiences I may have to switch to a new bakery as staff didn't communicate with me regarding the extra fees and a lot of miscommunication! But the baked goods are delicious!
