Amy creates the most stunning and gorgeous cakes. You cannot go wrong with her. She is prompt and professional. Loved working with them for our first event.

Amy was so easy to work with! I was struggling with finding a baker in the area and even though she was booked with other weddings, she still managed to fit mine in. She brought my wedding cake dreams to life. She knew exactly what I wanted, and it was so elegant and classy. She was able to create little pumpkins to place on each of the cupcakes, and gold flakes on our cake.

She was able to even bake my husband Gluten Free cupcakes even though I requested it last minute! All of the flavors were absolutely amazing. I cannot thank her enough for the best cake and cupcakes we ever had!

Amy was a delight to work with and quick to respond. We made a last minute order (called a day before we needed it) and were SO grateful she was able to squeeze us in. We ordered the raspberry cream cheese cake for my mother's birthday! The cake was moist and delicious. And the filling, was incredible, my sister wanted a bowl of just filling. Amy will be our go to baker for future celebrations.

Lonielle is the BEST cake baker I have ever met! Our cake was so beautiful and tasty! I wish I had her skills. My husband and I came in for a tasting about a year before our wedding and we are not sweets people, but we could eat her cake everyday! I would NOT book anyone else. The cake was not overly sweet, it was not dry, it was simply perfection.

I would highly recommend The Cakery. I honestly would request a cake from her again for any event my husband and I are having. Lonielle, please do not change a thing! The cake was DELICIOUS! What more can I say? Here's a photo. It was beautiful as well. Lonielle needed very little direction or communication from me. We booked her almost a year before the wedding and we checked in once or twice. She showed up the day of the wedding with a gorgeous naked cake exactly as I described ("naked, but not too naked, you know?").

She nailed it. PS - if you love coconut go with her coconut cream frosting. I plan to order from her again just to eat that frosting - as soon as I can come up with a good excuse!

Working with The Cakery was such a pleasure. Lonielle always stayed in contact, answering my MANY questions! She was so flexible with my changing guest list and made sure to accommodate the amount of cake with the amount of guests we were having. When my husband and I went to the tasting, we were so amazed at the taste of the cake! The cake designs she had were beautiful but the best part was the actual taste of the cake!

It was delicious! The cake was soft, the buttercream complimented the cake so well! The buttercream flavors weren't overbearing. I couldn't stop eating my cake! Thank you Lonielle!

Long overdue post but I wanted to give credit where credit is due. I wrote this post on 04/25/14 but forgot to post it. Found it on my phone in the "NotePad" app. I was married on 02/22/14. My wedding cake was BEAUTIFUL! I decided to go with the Cakery after my chef recommended them. Out of all my wedding vendor appointments, this was by far my favorite.

They had a great variety to choose from. Definitely not your average choices. After tasting the many different selections, we decided to go with 2 different flavors: white cake with a raspberry marmalade and salted caramel buttercream, as well as devil's food cake with the white cake with raspberry marmalade and salted caramel cream filling was a play on peanut butter and jelly.

Since it was so different and tasted exactly like it, we thought it would be perfect for us and our guests. The devil's food cake was the other choice for obvious reasons: we wanted to cater to chocolate lovers! As far as the artistry on the cake, we chose one of their designs that was classic. We chose the Dogwoods cake. It is featured in their cake gallery online.

It is simply beautiful! 3 layers of off-white buttercream frosting, with cascading peach-colored handcrafted flowers and blue berries. It was so pretty! When I walked into my venue, they showcased the wedding cake in the center of the dance floor for all to admire as they walked to their seats. I also paid for lighting, with a pinspot on the cake which added a dramatic spotlight.

It was so worth it. I had a gelato bar so everyone was able to enjoy their cake with "ice cream"! It was perfect and everything I had hoped for. Thank you, The Cakery, for a deliciously beautiful work of art!

Everything was perfect. We worked with Lonielle on our wedding cake and cupcakes. The cake was delicious. The dessert table turned out amazing. Lonielle was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend anyone in need of some cake - for any reason - to reach out to Lonielle.

Lonielle is amazing! I was a destination bride and she couldn't have made the process easier. Our cake turned out exactly how I hoped and even better it tasted phenomenal. Lonielle is an artist of the baking kind! First and foremost, it was extremely hard to choose a cake because they're all amazing. We sampled 8 cakes all of which were different yet delicious. Once we picked the cake flavor out, we showed Lonielle our little pinterest photo of a baseball themed cake. Much like the other review on here, she made it a reality. She gave us suggestions and made everything beautiful. Our guests were RAVING about the cake, and we hardly had ANY leftover. THANK YOU!

90th Birthday party. Fabulous cake. Several layers. All delicious! Everyone at the party ( people from the Bay Area and Southern Ca) wanted to know where I got it. Lonielle was professional, accommodating, flexible with changes and had some great suggestions. If you have a special event in your future, this is the place to get your cake. The Cakery is AMAZING! 1-The cake was delicious! 2- Lonielle took my little picture from Pintrest and made my cake a reality 3- When she dropped off the cake Lonielle really took the time to place the flowers and arrange the cake table so everything was beautiful (and out of harms way). She was a pleasure to work with and I can't recommend the Cakery highly enough! If you need a cake in the SLO area look no farther!
