I cannot say enough positive things about Carl Alan. We worked with Greg and he was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He was so incredibly patient with all of our emails going back and forth since we kept changing our minds about what we wanted. He was responsive and extremely accommodating. Before the ceremony, I caught a glimpse of the setup and I cried at how beautiful it all was.

It was just perfect! When we had our room reveal, we both gasped at how gorgeous everything was. It was everything we wanted, plus so much more. I'm getting my bouquet preserved because it was just too beautiful not to. The wonderful people setting everything up were on time and extremely professional. I would highly recommend Carl Alan to anyone!

Pros: During the planning process they were attentive and accommodating, which I appreciated given I had to rescheduled 3 times during Covid. I also met the owner Carl while I was in the planning process and he was very, very nice. Cons: The team did not deliver on multiple things we talked about ahead of our reception. Our sweetheart table did not have flowers on it as discussed (only greens which I'm sure is much cheaper) and they did not use pillars to display flowers on the sides of the table.

The team who set up was nice, but they ran late even though they were aware of the allotted time for them to set up. We were planning to rent additional vases for a couple hundred dollars and they did not end using them. The venue made sure I was aware of this too (because they used their vases instead). Since they did not use them, I asked to be refunded for what I paid for the additional vases (nothing else) and was basically ignored.

I was told they were sending a check, never received one. then followed up a couple times and never heard back. After spending thousands and thousands of dollars on flowers with them, it is mind boggling to me that they cannot return a couple hundred dollars that we are owed. Our wedding reception was last May (2021) so they have had plenty of time. Does not seem ethical to me at all and because of this I will not use them for any future events or recommend them.

My fiancee needed cheering up and Carl Alan helped me out. Definitely lifted her spirits. Thanks all

I just received a gorgeous bouquet for my wife for Mother's Day. One of the prettiest I have ever ordered. And not exorbitantly priced. The flowers were reliably delivered exactly as I requested. I plan to make Carl Alan my go-to florist.

We have used Eventopedia to find venues for commercial events. Eventopedia is easy to use and allows us to quickly get information on specific venues and connect with the venue sales team.

Carl Alan Floral Designs is the best. My mother passed away in January 2019, and we needed sunflowers for her memorial. Sunflowers were her favorite, and we would not settle for any other flower. This is not an easy feat to find sunflowers in the winter months - I called seven florists! Carl Alan was the only florist who listened to me as a customer, respected me, and was able to deliver on our demands.

The best customer service I have ever experienced, and made the grieving process just a little more bearable. Today, it is my mom's birthday and I am incredibly sad. I wanted to buy some sunflowers to honor her today - Carl Alan delivered once again! Thank you so much for providing light and beauty in these dark days. I will be a returning customer, they always deliver and have the customer's best interest at heart!

Oh my goodness! The floral arrangements that Carl Alan creates is simply beautiful! I love that they can send same day area! You have to navigate the corridor to get to their studios but it's well worth the trek to the basement of the corporate center!

I used Eventopedia to help find a fantastic venue for my work event. I really liked the search filters and it allows me to connect directly with the venue sales teams. The filters helped narrow down the search and allowed me to look at a short list of great venues that suited my requirements. This will be really useful for my next event and especially liked the emphasis on videos of the venues.

Flowers by Carl Alan for our wedding on September 1st at the Franklin Institute were gorgeous! Everything was done to perfection! The chuppah was so beautiful, so elegant and so memorable! Many thanks to Alexa and the team for a beautiful job!

If there were 1000 stars, I'd award 1001. Carl Alan and Vito are the most talented, kind, professional florists I've ever met in my entire life. The entire staff at Carl Alan is just amazing. I used Carl Alan for my wedding and couldn't say enough amazing things about them if I tried. My co worker ordered flowers for Valentine's Day for our other co worker from a flower shop that was closer to our office and after having a horrible experience there, I called Carl Alan in a panic and they not only prepared the most GORGEOUS bouquet of flowers I've ever seen, but they did so on the spot on what has to be one of their busiest days of the year and were just incredible! I will forever be grateful for Carl Alan - they are worth going the extra few blocks and really are just out of this world. Quality and customer service cannot be beat.

Carl and Vito are amazing! The team here is so friendly and so creative. They designed the centerpieces and the bouquets for my wedding and everything was absolutely stunning. We wouldn't have had it any other way!

Called to send my wife flower on our first anniversary. They took all my information down. Said they would take care of me. On my anniversary date, nothing. No flowers, no phone call. Still have no idea what happened. Thanks for making my wife think I'm a deadbeat. I guess they don't really care about the little guy. They just care only if you're spending tons of money on wedding flowers.

Working with Carl Alan was incredible! Vito was right on point with what I wanted! The flowers were beautiful and everything I could ask for. Vito made appointments so easy and fun. Carl Alan provided my husband and I with the best wedding experience a couple could ask for. Our wedding coordinator (Heather) and her team provided follow up for all questions and changes within 24 hours. As my venue is a nontraditional venue (The Mann Center), they did an amazing job helping us to visualize our wedding and create a look that reflected our tastes and complimented our spectacular venue.

In times of crisis (a family chuppah abandoned by the bride 72 hours prior to the big day), the team at Carl Alan came through and provided an amazing alternative for our ceremony. Their pricing is very reasonable, and they are sensitive to maintaining your budget. If you are getting married, trust Carl Alan to give you an amazing wedding experience without any of the stress!

I can't say enough great things about Carl Alan floral! I worked with heather ( and tad bit with Vito)for my wedding, the level of service that she provided was amazing! I met with a few florists in the Philly area, as soon as I started talking with heather I knew this was the one! She was very knowledgable about all flowers and overall decor!

She seemed like she really cared to get to know me and my vision for my wedding day! I'm still obsessed with my bouquet! It was gorgeous! When I walked into my reception I was blown away how amazing everything looked! There was so much detail- it was Better than I ever imagined! It was exactly what I envisioned x100. "Uncle" Carl is such a character and a blast to work with! He helped get the ball rolling and then, when my vision changed over the year, Pam took over and talked through my nebulous ideas until we knew what she would create. In the end, Pam designed and executed the most perfect, award-winning boutonniere for my groom, a completely romantic-yet-funky bouquet for me (can you say succulents?), and perfectly balanced, unique centerpieces (carefully placed kale, dried lotus pods, and scabiosa!). Thank you for sharing your collective knowledge of flowers and plants. And thank you for the amount of care you put into making our arrangements perfect!

Words cannot really express how amazing and beautiful my flowers were. The bouquets were to die for. When the delivery guy came to drop them off, I couldn't get the smile off my face! They were exactly what I wanted, but more then I could of imagined. From the very beginning Carl Alan's Team was so amazing, helpful, and easy to work with.

They made my ideas come to life more beautiful then I had imagined. I worked closely with Kathleen from the start, who handled my million bridezilla emails with ease! She is the best :) Vito, the designer, really listened to our theme and ideas, and made them come to life. I couldn't of asked for more beautiful flowers. Every single person (bridal party, guests, & staff) all complimented them, saying they were the most unique, beautiful arrangement of flowers they have ever seen :) THANK YOU

One word to describe the whole experience: awkward. Why? When we first met with Carl he tried to crack a bunch of jokes, none of which were funny, and it was weird because he was pressuring us to laugh. Also, when we explained that we only needed a few floral items for our wedding he made us feel badly that we were using artificial flowers as well and tried to convince us to go all-natural. (Note: all of our artificial arrangements/centerpieces/etc. turned out AWESOME.

We were able to go into our venue and set everything up the night before - which really reduced our stress level.) Anyway, when we were taken to design the bouquets we bounced from employee to another and we didn't have ONE point person helping us out. I found that to be stressful and like I didn't have the chance to develop a good working relationship with one person.

I do have to say that the final product/prototype was quite beautiful. However, the quote we were given for two bouquets and two boutonniers was over $600.00, which I found to be outrageous. Needless to say, we went elsewhere.

A gorgeous arrangement arrived for me today from Carl Alanand so far - WOW. The Flowers were amazingly fresh and the spring flowers lasted 4 days, roses are still goung strong at 6 days. (Tulips & Freesia wilt quickly.) A 6 inch glass bubble bowl filled with 6 white roses, 3 pink ranunculus, 3 pink tulips, 3 light purple freesia, green hypericum berries (fill), pink wax flower (filler), and Salal leaves. (Or maybe it's ruscus?) Perfect for a spring pick me up. I love my best girl friend (who sent me this "just because"). She rocks! And Carl Alan did a very elegant job on this arrangement.
